Sigil: City of Doors

At the end of his very first rotation on the streets of Sigil, the masked and robed Owen Belmont sits down at a desk and scribes the following report.


To the Factors of the Harmonium..

As I am sure many of you know, there was an incident involving a woman named Nienna and several other city folks, (at the time the names were unknown but people are starting to come forth)

Upon questioning a few people who have known connections to those involved I have uncovered the following.

-The group that attacked the woman known as Nienna has many grudges and a strong hatred or at least a stern dislike of lady Nienna, and according to an eye witness who was present it seems likely that the group approached the victim with the likely intent to cause her grievous harm, to and I quote the witness "remove a thorn in their side".
-Combat ensued, the victim was slain, subsequently resurrected and according to the eye witness someone tried to "steal her soul". The group dispersed shortly after.
-I have not been able to discern who threw the first spell or shot the first arrow yet, all of the people i have talked to were part of the group that approached the victim, I have not been able to gather any information about the victims side of the story.

The cooperative witness was Vil Thistlewind, a halfling who was present, part of the group hostile towards the victim but claims she did not partake of the fighting.

Possible people to interview on the matter include.
-Gnolls Royce
-His bodyguard "Bobo"
-The man known as Ziguard or Ziggy.

To the Factors.

I have been doing more, careful investigations into the matter and I believe I have uncovered enough information for us to act upon those involved, at least with the intent of questioning to get the answers we need to close this case once and for all.

I have written statements from a series of people, interviewed alone one on one who's stories fall in line with each other. The group which is well known to have hostilities toward the woman known as Nienna does appear, at this time to have initiated the first trike against the woman known as Nienna who, it is my belief is merely guilty of fighting back in self defense. I am not going to say i believe this to be one hundred percent accurate, it is just a as-it-appears interpretation.

I suggest we approach the fraternity of order for arrest warrants for the following individuals.

-Nienna
-Darremar
-Callisto
-Surine
-Raven
-Alistar De Brill

The people above, I have concluded were those directly involved in the violence.

At this time I am aware of a few more witnesses who I believe it would be beneficial to question.
One of them I have already questioned about this situation and the other I have been informed bore witness to it, the two people go by the names Vilanth Thislewind and Charles Goodman.

I am still undertaking careful investigations into this matter, but being a notary I am waiting for word from the Factors before doing anything that requires alot of legal paper work and warrants.

The case is being handled and several have already been brought to justice and are currently enjoying the tender ministrations of the Mercykillers in the Prison.

The others allegedly involved may or may not be questioned at this or a later time, but for now we consider the matter closed.

We expect a report from the Mercykillers within the week which will inform us how those who were apprehended are accepting their rehabilitation.

Harmony will be achieved.

A complementary oral report from Notary Ta'Kan was brought about the case, when the so called Nienna was brought into the harmonium barracks :

Hopefulley afta a quick investigation happend' it wasn't an harmonium berk but a civilian victim' she told mey tha' she needed bodeys fer "science" to understan' betta tha far realm... If somethin' wierd s'happenin' with tha woman I'd not be surprised. However she indeed tried tha corrupt two officers fer her werk, which I refused and denouced' my colleague 'cause such attitude isn't worthey ov' an harmonium member. I must confess tha' I'm guitly of not havin' reported tha earlier, 'caus I though she would be doin' any good with tha research and report thin' to me which didn't occurred. However I have tha point that she may be carryin' tha corruption ov' tha realm so betta' use precautions, wich was more important in my humbel 'pinion.
