During the more quiet after-hours, one day, a fire giant enters the Barracks, walking over to the receptionist's desk. Staring down at the person on the other side of the desk, he announces simply:
"I saw one of your posters in the bazaar. I wish to join the Harmonium"

The Factor at the front desk grunts as I this normal procedures and hands him a few papers.
"Sign and date these. Be back tomorrow for your introductions and training. You'll be assigned to a squad and will be on foot patrol. Dismissed solider!"
He grins while talking and slips in "Welcome aboard son".

The giant pulls out a piece of sharpened charcoal and signs the documents as Grymmr, dotting down the current date and time before handing them back over and walking off.
"Tomorrow, then.."

As agreed, the giant returns the next day, reporting in at the front desk.
