Hograth sits on the table in the room that serves as his home here in Sigil, tired and a bit dozy from the bath he enjoyed- but before going to bed he decides to write up his report to his superiors while his memories are still fresh.

Taking a sip of wine he tries to shut out the presence of his fiancee and the seductive call of the bed and takes up the quill, preparing a fresh sheet of paper.

Concerning Operation Buzzsaw.

My Lady,

I am pleased to report the operation to be a success.

The three suspects- Bevil STARLING (a.k.a Jewelz), Carl OTIX and Sir Kenneth LOKE- were apprehended without violence involved and without casualties among our forces and are now in our custody.

The only deaths were two guards in the employment of Starling who died in the traps set by their employer.

We found Starling's hidout to house serveral illegal businessnes (see attachment 1 ) and we suggest a closer inspection. Yet I advice to proceed with greatest caution as the place was heavily prapped with the most dangerous devices, most using fire or electricity to deal their damage.

We also found Sir Loke to be involved into the defense and evacuation of a prime which is on the verge to be overrun with demons. We provided what help we could to save some refugees but had to withdraw when the pressure of the demonic host became too strong.

I want to commend Notary Lyricia for both her skill with the bow as well as her ability to stay calm in a dire situation like this.

The loss of a prime is a major blow to the forces of law and I leave it to my superiors to decide if we can do something about this.

I also want to commend Fraternity Aide Arnders as she proved to be a valuable asset for this mission, providing arcane expertise and good advice in all situations.

Cooperation between our factions went smoothly and was most rewarding- a good example of cooperation between the forces of order.

Hograth Thorn, Notary II, Harmonium

After having no luck with her own faction Caterina decides to take Garen's advice and a second letter regarding operation Buzzsaw arrives on the Mover's desk.

Mover.

After the events of operation Buzzsaw I feel I must congratulate you on the expertise and professionalism your faction's officers displayed.  They executed their duties in a manner that was both efficient and professional.  Special mention must go to Notaries Thorn and Lyrica who's vigilance and expertise during the evacuation of demon infested prime saw us return without casualties despite heavy fighting.  As a noncombatant unused to such situations I was impressed with how admirably they dealt with the situation ensuring both my safety and that of the refugees

With regards to the refugees I feel I must bring to your attention that they are both associates of a suspected member of the revolutionary league and from a prime so ridden with chaos that it was overrun with demons.  I think it prudent that your faction keep them under observation for a period of time to establish they are not a threat to harmony in the cage.

Regards Caterina Arnders
Administrator A7
Department of Interfactional Affairs
Although this was by no means an ideal or permanent solution to her problem Caterina knew that if the Harmonium were to observe the refugees they would have to take them into custody which meant they would have to shelter feed and clothe them. She could at least buy them time.

The Triad thanks for your competence and your ability to follow orders to the latter.  The refugees will be closely monitored on the advice of Caterina Arnders Admimistrator A7.

Please speak with your commanding officer for proper recognition of your efforts.
The refugees are taken to the Harmonium barracks where they are provided with the basics as they are processed for citizenship in Sigil. Those that choose to leave Sigil and strike it on their own are free too without any hindrances.

Lucia submits an addendum to her own daily patrol report as well, as required by regulations. The contents of the report corroborates with Hograth's report.

"Addendum B: "Operation Buzzsaw""

"This addendum to my report describes my involvement in the raid, codenamed "Operation Buzzsaw". My orders were to provide long range support and sniper observation."

"Due to emergency duties as listed in Addendum A of this report, I was not able to reach the site of the raids until approximately an hour after antipeak. During the arrest of Sir Loke as conducted by Notary Two Hograth Thorn, accompanied by Guvner Administrator A7 Caterina Arnders, we had to enter a portal in order to cover the escape of refugees from a Prime world overrun by demons. Sir Loke was coordinating the evacuation of the refugees when his arrest was made. There were no casualties on our side from the incursion."

"There were no Anarchist sniper activities during the arrest in question."

Hograth checks on the refugees as often as his duties allow- talking to them to find out more about the prime and what might have caused the attacks as well as to see to their needs.

Next day Lucia gets a letter from the halforc:
wrote: Notary I Lyricia,

I remember we were talking about your sister being able to offer some support to the refugees.

If she needs a temporary permit to access the barracks please let me know.

The now well-known pink-haired young sorceress walks into the reception area of the Barracks and hands the soldier at the reception desk a letter for Hograth. The letter is in Common.

Notary Hograth Thorn,

My sister informed me that the refugees are in need of food, and has requested that I bake some bread for them. Since the refugees are under Harmonium protection, I would like to request an escort or other appropriate means for me to distribute the bread.

Of course, the Harmonium is welcome to examine the bread for contraband and for risk amelioration.

Thank you in advance!

Sincerely,
Licca Lyricia

I thank you for your support and I will see to it that the supplies reach those who need it most. If you want to provide more assistance in investigating this matter please let me know.

You have my thanks,

Hograth Thorn, Notary II, Harmonium.

After informing his superiors Hograth will organize a way to distribute the bread and- of course- every delivery is searched as well per the Harmonium standard procedures concering food.

After spending time with the refugees again he will expand his investigations... canotacting some of the mercenaries first then writing a request to his superiors.
wrote: Movers and Measures,

I hereby request permission to question the suspect Sir Kenneth LOKE on matters of his dealings with the refigees and their homeplane.

If we find out more about what happened there we might be able to prevent something like this happening again.

Then he will share what he learned so far from the refugees with Caterina as he knows she will be interested in this- and might be able to use this knowledge well.

Lucia makes her own rounds to the refugees as well, as she has personally been through what the refugees have just recently gone though. Most of them were still shell-shocked and showed signs of depression.

Drawing from her former career as a bard before she joined the military, she takes out her lute and sings some of her favorite songs from her native world to try to cheer them up.

On her way back to her locker at the barracks, she runs into Licca in the lobby, trying to lift massive boxes filled with bread in for inspection before distribution. She arrives at her locker and reads a letter from Hograth, and pens a reply.

(See a PM for the contents of the letter.)

Hograth reads the letter, then files it as usual.

After writing a short response for Lucia he sets up a letter to the Guvners.
