recently one of our fellow factioneers, Notary Xzav, went missing in the Hive after attacking two boys for no appearant reasons.

We cannot allow one of us become rogue, become a danger to the peace and harmony we are sworn to uphold.

So keep your eyes and ears open, stay sharp and bring back our wayward brother so he can be questioned and- if necessary- accept the consequences for his actions.

Take him alive and if possible unharmed as questioning him might reveal vital information.

Hograth smiles, pleased by the Notarys reaction to his call.

A good one. Exactly who I will need if we find him.

He does some investigations himself of course, sending a letter to the Guvners first- then pens a note to the priestess

Notary,

it is good to have you in the team, the case is a most sensitive one. I do not yet know what caused the trooper to go rogue hut one of the boys might be not what he seems to be.

I have to inform you that in this matter we will also work with Factor Ta'Kan of the Godsmen both as a show of good will as as a start of future cooperation between factions in a case of emergency.

While the Factor is our allie she is no member of the Harmonium- something we need to remember when sharing internal information with her.

Keep up the good work,

Hograth Thorn, Measure II

A letter arrives on Hogarth's desk.

A man described as being "bloody big" and "dressed like a lobster" was seen rushing towards the lake in The Hive at the time you mention.
The letter is unsigned

Hograth smiles a bit as he reads the note as usual he is wary about a unsigned note but nevertheless he will have to follow this lead.

Lake. Only a Cager will call a muddy pool full of corpses a lake. On the other hand...

He quickly checks a map of Sigil if there are perhaps other bodies of water qualifying beside the aforementioned pool and the pond in the Gatehouse Garden.

Nevertheless he sends another request to the Guvners- this time to request information about portals.

After finishing this letter he checks the Harmonium's own archives as well- looking for portals leading from the Cage to Fortitude and while at it he will also check if Notary Xzav has accessed or added to this information.

After returning from Arcadia Hograth checks the letters he got. His own reserch revealed nothing...the Guvners did not tell him anything new but the boy's history is rather.... interesting.

After reading a bit about the Expansionist he pens a quick note to the notary, informing her about what they had learned so she can continue with her own investigations.

Then he writes a request to the Hardhead archives about anything they have on the boy's parents and after donning some worn leathers he heads out into the Hive to look for the boy's mother (( or foster mother? )).

Of course he invites the notary to come along as well.

Reading through the documents, she attempted to figure out what was really going on. ((OOCly this would be welcome in a PM or so.))

After having established where the individual was last seen, she donned her plain white healer's robes, and went out in the Hive to try and find any witnesses to the event.

Hogarth receives a reply. The boys mother has been arrested a number of times for the crime of prostitution without a license. His father has no criminal record.

Ny'l has a letter arrive its header marking it as being from The Mortuary.

Please see the attached reports as requested.

Veryl Karutthars Initiate Fourth Circle.
Six reports would follow. All of the subjects are hivers who died from injuries received in combat. One was killed with a dagger as she already knows, the others were stabbed or bludgeoned. As well as the wounds that killed them they sustained broken bones from the impact of the blows. These would be consistent with injuries received from a man of Xvaz's size and strength. The clinical nature of the wounds suggest they were inflicted by an seasoned warrior who knew well how to kill someone.
