Makii responds to Caterina with a smile. Sir Loke is guilty of nothing except trying to help his people in need. As I've stated he hands over a few pieces of paper Here is the paperwork to move my client to more appropriate surroundings. I will file those with the courts soon as this interview is over. And no, my client is not a member of the Anarchist. Has anyone tried to free him yet? I think not.
The fire breaks out in the barracks but doesn't spread to the interrogation area. However as a precaution several mages schooled in the arts of using water based magics do stand outside to make sure the fire doesn't spread nor interferes with the questioning.

As Hogarth leaves the room to deal with the fracas Caterina remains in the room. She seems tense and nervous when Hogarth returns she stands and lets out an audible sigh of relief, but quickly she buries her concern. In a blink of an eye she is calm cool and professional again.
"It bodes ill for your client that you have not familiarized yourself with the evidence against him mister Shepard. As a professional courtesy allow me to direct your attention to the bit that bares relevance to this particular situation. Your clients name is found documented as having received payment from a group of convicted revolutionaries. According to the ledger we have seized from them your client has received payment for services rendered during their operation in the lady's ward counterfeiting the seals of three factions.
One such associate of theirs has already been executed by a mercykiller justicar in the course of this investigation.
Suffice to say we have enough evidence to hold him here without bail on the charge. Again as you seem poorly prepared allow me to give you a copy."
She reaches into her bag and produces a copy of the ledgers taken from Dash and Dace she hands them to Makii whilst at the same time she hands his own papers back to him.
" Why no one has attempted to free your client suggests that the revolutionary league do not care for those they sacrifice or that they are simply to disorganized to do so but we know this already. However that Sir Loke cares about his people is something upon which we both agree and it is very admirable."
Her words are addressed to Makii but she looks directly at Loke when she speaks.
"This is why I am here offering him this opportunity to help both us and himself first. If you and your client do not wish to cooperate then I feel again in the spirit of professional courtesy to point out I will be having the same conversation and making the same offer with mister Ottix and mister Starling.
I doubt they will share your client's scruples and this may bode ill for him and indeed the people forced to do without him should he be executed or incarcerated. This would sadden me greatly."

Lucia realizes that the lawyer forgot to do something, and decides to take action. "Lady Arnders, please wait a minute."
Lucia addresses the lawyer. "Sir, since you have not shown your credentials before trying to argue for your client, I am afraid that I wll have to put you outside of the interrogation room since you cannot prove that you are authorized to act as a practitioner of law. Either show your credentials, or else I will have to remove you from the premises."
Lucia then steps between the pompous lawyer and Sir Loke, and motions for a Harmonium guard. "If you would, please escort this gentleman off the premises if he does not show his credentials." Her actions were then punctuated by pulling out her crossbow, and loading a bolt while aiming the weapon at the pompous lawyer.

@ Caterina " My, lady.. Sir Loke categorically deny willingly aiding the the Anarchist and any all affiliates. My client only admits guilt in so far as doing business with one that is unscrupulous.

Caterina seems to be about to say something more but at Sheperd's last comment she stops herself. She has what she wants there is no point in antagonizing him if he will be cooperative. She reaches for her bag and produces a mimir. The skull hover over the table recording.
"A very reasonable decision. We will need to know everything you found out about the anarchist cell you were caught up in please Sir Locke, as a matter of course the Harmonium will need to search your property in Sigil. A set of keys would help us greatly."
