Having received no indication from Hogarth or Rhistel they stand their ground and a pair of raised halberds block the harbinger's path. A cool bet polite feminine voice states from beneath one of the helms.
"This is a crime scene sir. Please stand back."

Hograth nods to Rhistel and recognizing the man he talks to the female officer.
"Thank you Notary, this man may pass."
He looks over the scene, the house, then gives his orders:
"Second squad surround the house, secure the surroundings. Make sure nothing gets in or out while we are busy inside. First squad, arcane and divine support... with me."
The half orc gestures to the half drow and the vampire to follow him as well and approaches the door leading into the warehouse, knocking with his heavy, armoured fist.
"Thank you Notary, this man may pass."

He nods slightly at that, his eyes still on the ground as he keeps walking. "But for that, I will need someone to accompany me at my house... Everything I need is there," he says with a slight grimace.
"You can have me under surveillance the whole time, should it be needed. Or search me after, in case you may think I may be sneaking this precious sensory stone outside..." He then concludes with a hint of sarcasm in his otherwise quiet tone.

Hograth says in a dry tone, nothing about him showing he might have understood the sarcasm or is perhaps not entirely serious himself.
"Forget the Stones... reason why I'll have an eye on you is that someone goes to great lenghts to make your life an utter mess. I have to consider the possibility that you are a target as well."

He rolls his eyes and finally turns his gaze on Hograth again. "Yeah, I collect them..." he replies in a sigh, with the same previous tone. "Really, last time I told Factotum Sasha Andor my opinion on Sensory Stones I was almost sure she was going to punch me..."
He then gets quiet again, only to add a little later "Anyway... I will not be in danger until I will. For now, I'd rather focus on her..."

"So now you are admitting to not only steal their sensory stones but to provoke fistfights with ranking Sensates, too?", the Half Orc asks, but this time his voice shows his amusement for a small relaxed moment before he gets serious again.
"We will find your Lady, but we must not ignore what else might be going on here. However this is my job. You already do a great job on staying focused and calm. This is not an easy task...."
He lets his voice trail off as a group of people passes past them closely but continues as soon as he is sure they cannot longer hear him.

As the seven of them would split up and begin to search Rhistel would notice a pile of smashed crates as if someone wearing armour had fallen and landed on them. As he looks up he would see an arrow wedged into a ceiling beam.
Kapaneus would see an out line in the dust. As if something like a very large crate had recently been moved. There are several sets of humanoid foot prints and one smaller set. Around the smaller set their are flakes of rusted metal left behind.
Hogarth would not find much but the cleric and the mage in the squad would report back to him.
"There is a lingering chaotic energy here sir, and a very powerful abjuration spell was cast not long ago."
