After getting the requested information from the Fraternity Hograth immediately shares the information with his fellow Measures and also the two Movers involved.

Of course there is a lot of data to go through.....

After getting reports from several of his allies and friends Hograth writes another report to his most trusted superiors:
wrote: To: Mover Oroak, Mover I Tels, Harmonium
From: Measure II Hograth Thorn, Harmonium

M'Lady, Sir,

I got some most troubling reports concerning Harmonium involvement in the Gatehouse incidents and while I am not informed aboiut the operations going on there my sources fear our forces at the gatehouse might become compromised, perhaps even possessed.

Also a man I arrested for drunkeness was moved to the gatehouse without reasons given.

I hereby request to access the written warrants and orders that lead to Factotum Ra'zeth beind delivered to the Gatehouse. If those are classified I ask you, honoured Movers, to double check the orders and make sure noone involved has been possessed or otherwise compromised by the enemy.

On another note I have an offer of an Godsmen Factotum to deliver weapons and armours to our forces as well as protective devices against possession.

Please see the attached documents for details.

<a seal showing a Dragon's Claw and an arcane mark showing something similar>
Hograth is unusually yague with names in this report and even the attached documents- most likely to keep his sources safe in this strange time.

If course should his superiors request to see the letters they will be shown.

((DM(s) running this just poke me and I forward the PMs))

A reply is soon sent to Hogarth.

Measure.

The offer of arms from The Foundry is a welcome one and one we will seriously consider.

The operation to secure The Gatehouse was based upon intelligence that a far realm portal was found there.  It is ongoing and currently being overseen by Mover 3 Beckett.

Peace and Harmony

Mover I Cecilia Tels
Having met Mover Tels and corresponded with her frequently Hogarth would note two things. Firstly it us unlike her to divulge anything unless he needed to know it, secondly her usual manner of ending her letters, a nod to her Hexetorite faith is absent here.

This answer surprises the halforc greatly- and at the same time it scares him.

He tries to find out more about Mover Beckett in the archives, then walks over to Cecilia Tels' office, knocks.

Hogarth finds himself at the office in The Barracks. The blinds are down, as he knocks the door a key turns and the door swings open quickly and is closed just as quickly once he is inside. The Mover seems nervous. A common if unproven rumour is that she once as a Notary killed a Ghale by biting through its windpipe. Although the sane listener would would doubt it is true, the fact it persists would make Hogarth wonder what could worry her.

"The fact that you are here Measure means you understood my letter I hope."

He nods, closes the door, the amulet he got worn openly.

Of course he watches her reaction to the Sign, of course he cannot trust her. Not now not yet- this could be both an opportunity or an trap. But he has to take the risk, has to find one superiour he that might support him. One who is still free.

The half orc seems weary, the tension of the days spent at work or patrolling, the things he saw and heard all demanding their toll.

"Mover. How bad is it? "

She doesn't flinch at the amulet he wears.

"Beckett is one of them. They tried to possess me too so I have reason to believe that the rest of the Movers in Sigil may have been compromised. Even if they are not, I am not risking enough to trust them. We must alert the rest of the Faction. We have troops and Movers on both Ortho and Arcadia who have so far been beyond their reach."

"Yes, I understand. We need to alert them, Mover." He flashes a grin at her. "Now.. what do you pick? Arcadia or Ortho?"

Just when I begin to think you are not as stupid as you look Measure.

She returns the grin though

"Since the last fiasco on Arcadia the natives would not take kindly to me. I will go to Ortho, you to Arcadia."

"I will head out immediately and report to you on Ortho once I arrived."

He salutes, turns.....

"Good Luck. May your sands run slow."

Quickly he heads down into the vaults to get his belongings, not lingering long, moving fast and with determination.

Only once he stops, smiles as he scoops a bat from its hiding place above the chest that holds his belongings. Gently he strokes the creatures fur- remembers the day he found it in the cellars of the Spirit Inn.

"Find her.", he says, fixing a small note to the small body, casting invisibility on the beast then releasing it.

Then he hurries to the portal, not looking back.
