A missive is dispatched for Measure Chari.

Measure Chari,

I had a brief encounter with the unseelie calling herself the Winter First. The meeting was non-hostile, and she openly dropped hints that there is a traitor among either the Harmonium or Mercykiller ranks. If this traitor exists, he or she is meant to accompany any force heading to the Illdesserin estate in preparation for the attack, with orders to kill the target mage.

This could be a ruse, but I wanted to warn you all the same. Take what precautions you feel necessary. I have also passed orders among our own ranks for only specific agents and constructs to be dispatched to the tower to assist, their names on the next page. If you find any agent not listed here, you are free to order them away or detain them in the event of resistance (but do keep them alive and unharmed much as possible).

In the mean time, I am making arrangements for Miranda to be moved to the [ Triad glyph mark print]. Since according to the unseelie, the whole point here is to use her death as a demonstration.

After reading the notice and seeing the increased magical protections around Miranda's estate, Chari sets up a temporary make shift guard post across the street from the wizards tower and has several units from her command reassigned to patrol the area around the tower as well as the Lady's Ward

"Siege"

She wanted to go home, she wanted to flee to her husbands enclave in the dragons reach, let the fey try and rip her from the protective walls filled with powerful red wizards and all of their slaves, servants and magical powers arrayed against them.

The number of Fey deaths would be one for the history books, no one would deny that, however such a course would come with a very high cost and even she would be hesitant to pay such a price.

Still...she was going to keep that course of action open as a last resort.

She finally decided to ink several messages to the powers that had reached out to her, which she secured to squad of homunculi which she released from the top of her tower to carry the missives to the interested parties.

The missive simply states.

"As much as I am inclined to stand my ground and defend my home I have realized that the situation aligned before me is something that even I cannot deal with alone and I am deeply in debt to everyone who has reached out to offer assistance your care and concern have not gone unnoticed by any means. I will meet with those of you who have contacted me to discuss your ideas but understand that I will be taking my own precautions. My tower is off limits for now and anyone trying to set foot inside with out me will be violantly met with spell and steel defenses. In addition, despite the urge to keep a low profile when setting out to meet with those in question, I will be accompanied by my personal guardians at all times, this is non negotiable.

Send your retinues to the tower when you are ready to meet with me".

The note is not signed.

The Harmonium are buzzing and it's not good. Three of their own, Larry, Mo, and Curly are sitting in shackles inside of Harmonium prison cells. The fey sorceress that was captured during an attack a few weeks earlier was released and their own are responsible.

It doesn't help that there was an attack by ice like beings on the Golden Briar during the jailbreak. It was the perfect distraction that allowed the three to literally walk away with the prisoner.

What's worse is that all three name Miranda Illdesserin as the one responsible for having them conduct the jailbreak.

The three are questioned throughout the night. They are allowed to have no visitors, not even lawyers. The higher ups are debating what to do with them and place blame on whoever is responsible.

The Harmonium have calmed down now are now investigating the recent series of event that lead to the escape of the fey prisoner

A new missive arrives for Measure Chari.

Measure Chari,

I'm still not sure if anyone on the Harmonium side has been appointed command over the Winter Court situation, but I'll keep updating you as information becomes available.

I was recently one of several guests at a gathering in a glade held by the Prince of Hearts and Queen of Summer, where they related what they knew of this so called "Pale Prince". As I fear missing out any key details, I would urge you or a reliable officer of your choosing to go to the Civic Festhall, and look for the stone marked "Woodland Celebrations". It is a recording of the tale as told by the Prince, made by my wife. It should fill in as many details as to the history of this enemy that we know of.

One note of concern: the Prince of Hearts made a vague comment about the Seelie Queen marching forces into Sigil. He assured me that they would not come with ill intents or plans to turn Sigils streets into a battle ground. However, given the situation and their own rivalry with the Pale Prince, we should brace for such a possibility. With that said, I strongly advise alerting your  patrols to NOT engage in hostilities with the Seelie coming in. For the moment they may come in peace, and I feel we should keep it that way. If nothing else, we may be able to rely on their convenient presence to support our own defense against future attacks.

In the mean time, do remember that a certain Thayan tower was declared to be their next target,. I maintain hope that this is  a charade, but as it stands, we should expect a good deal of trouble in the Lady's Ward soon.

PS: A rumor- followed by a letter- reached me claiming that Vale Reynalt succumbed to combat injuries.

Please let me know if this is some bureaucratic slip with his name on the wrong list, or if there is any truth to this.

Factor Dace,

There was a Namer assigned to one of the first attacks, outside of that I will see if I can transfer myself to one of the units investigating this matter.  Your information will be shared with my superiors, you are doing an wonderful job in keeping the Triad in the know about the ongoing events. 

I have transfered myself and one unit to the Lady's Ward with the explicit instruction of watching Lady Miranda and making sure she comes to no harm.  We patrol the the area daily.

And yes, Sir Vale Reynolt has succumbed to injuries he sustained.  The Harmonium lost a good solider.

After penning the letter and giving it to a runner to be delivered, Chari makes her way to her commanding officer's office where she shares the contents of the letter.

I am going to assign myself to one of your units investigating the Fey attacks if that is okay with you. It seems things are moving along quite quickly and the Harmonium needs to stay on top of the situation as it could spell danger for the inhabitants of Sigil.
