Shana didn't have any fancy robes, but she did her best to look good. She peeked briefly at the security, thinking she had absolutely nothing to worry about and entered. He plan was simple, she observed the activity around and the conversations.

She agreed to the idea, donning a more elegant robe instead of her chainmail.

Having an Aasimar in the group around opens the doors rather easily and they are let inside, the place rather empty at this time of the day, but there are a few patrons chatting and drinking- and there are even an Eladrin and an Archon in a heated discussion about the nature of the Abyss.

There are a few signs of the incident however- a door closed and hidden by dark blue silk, covered with celestial symbols of mourning and also verses to bless departed souls.

Soon they are approached by a female Firre.

"Good morning. What can I get you? We just got a cask if Darkberry wine or if it is too early in the day for alcohol may I serve a cup of iced and spiced, honeyed milk?

Shana agreed for the milk. Drinking such things wasn't in her habits, she preferred the most tasteless and sober of waters, but this didn't prevented her to stay calm and disciplined as she observed the patrons and the attitude of the staff, reading their body language, trying to grasp any sign of tension, any sign of guilt.

The patrons behave as it is expected of good aligned creature's mingling with each other, discussing things with lowered voices, enjoying srories and jokes- and the excellent food and drink offered.

Shana soon gets her cup and a small plate with berries to go with it and she might notice that the staff, while polite is still a bit more tense than usual.

All in all everybody tries to do business as usual however.

Shana waited, trying to spot that typical suspicious individual moving to meet total strangers to offer them to buy some "exotic merchandise". If none of them showed up, she'll ask the waitress, in the most sensible and diplomatic way, how she could get something more "funny" or if she knew the right person for it.

((Diplomacy check : 9+27 = 36))

Ny'leve would have also ordered some of the honeyed milk, and some lemoncakes, blending in naturally with the folk there. She however, would have advised Shana not to bring up the touchy subject just yet.

There is nothing unusual to be found in the patrons- and at her question Shana is told that they only sell what is on the menue.

While private groups or people sometimes bring more exotic things to their partys they have to supply those themself.

Shana shook her head and looked at her companion.

"What do you think Notary ? I don't think we'll ever find a very obvious evidence of any suspicious and dark activity here and that we should focus on the victims themselves and the network around them, but as an Aasimar you'll probably get more doors open than myself."
