While the exact line of sight was missing to the one following, at some point just a frail hint in the back of his neck, perhaps the tiniest sound made Cratten look to the up at the rooftop, made him uneasy, he knew Hive wasn't exactly most hospitable place for Harmonium, but then again... perhaps he was just getting edgy. Getting to the destination was more important... he leaned closer to Mathias to speak in low tone.
"Change of plans, we're now releasing a prisoner and ye're it... our prosecutor just has searched yer house as a Hardhead he is, after we give him the suit and then we'll leave ye there... afterwards ye can just walk away on yer own casually. Would be too suspicious to drag ye in and then out as ye oughta understand."
Then guided him finally into one of the buildings, knocking the door, which was promptly opened and the two let in...

Indoors the contact was given Mathias' Harmonium armor, minimal conversation, after a while the bag from Mathias' head was removed and hands freed.
"Arrite, stick to the plan... ye can leave soon. Keep an eye out on our rear in-case someone chooses to ambush us or do something stupid otherwise, from good distance, look at the alleys and rooftops."
After this Cratten nodded at the contact whom was now in fully concealing Harmonium armor and they moved out of the building. After outside he made sure to raise his voice so those nearby would hear...
"And stay outta trouble next time."
Then he and the contact would move towards the Ladys Ward once more...

*Mathias nods in understanding to Cratten, and then watches him leave with the other "hardhead". To buy himself a few minutes, Mathias grunges himself up, smearing a bit of dirt on his face, arms and in his hair to look more like just another bum. After giving Cratten a fair start, he follows from a fair distance. He would stop somewhere to buy a cheap bottle of booze, keeping an annoyed look on his face, appropriate of someone who was recently interrogated. He strolls about, pretending to nurse his booze, and does his best to keep a line of sight on Cratten.*

The two hardheads leave the area undisturbed. Thier red armor under intense observation but nothing happens that would bring them to a stop.
Then they watched the prisoner depart and watched him very closely as well. They remembered mannerisms, walking motions, speech to the merchant who sold the booze. Something wasn't right here and they knew it. The whole situation stank of a set up or trap. Things just didn't add up. A hardhead taking a prisoner into the Hive... and departing with another who was already waiting... and leaving the prisoner behind to carry on his way.
No... it was all too convenient. You didn't escort prisoners back... you simply released them. It was most definitely a set up but 'Nix wasn't going to fall for the bait. Once all three "visitors" had departed the Hive, the house was completely ransacked from top to bottom and torn apart for clues into the whole fiasco.
If there was anything here to give a hint to their reason for being here... it was going to be found.

The floor creaks, but the usually dusted floor is disrupted with several steps. There were some recent discarded food containers in one of the rooms. However nothing substantial than cheap means to waste time and feed were in the house.
