Nero returned to Oerianna’s new safe house and knocked on the door. “Hi, Oeri,” he called through. Presuming she allowed him entry, Nero stepped through and offered her a smile. “I hope that you’re comfortable here,” he said before scanning the chamber to check how she rearranged things.
“We need to get started,” he said. “It occurred to me that you can now participate in our little hunt. It also occurred to me that a good course would be locating Old Nehla. After all, the Dreamer’s actions targeted her. There’s likely a connection. Thoughts?”

Oerianna had transformed the new sanctum from its former state of disarray. The books and furniture were arranged meticulously while the bed was made. Any loose rubble had been cleared away. The whole setup had an eerie quality to it.
She welcomed Nero with a cautious smile, and a thoughtful expression shaded her features as he started to speak. "Old Nehla is a well-liked village elder in Ragpicker's square who works as a cook. I doubt he was targeting her specifically, unless there is more to her than meets the eye." She then looks down to the ground in concern. When she looks up to meet Nero's eyes, her own green orbs are wrought with dismay. Her voice emerges as a fearful whisper:
"I've been having dreams again."

Nero immediately frowned at her revelation and approached her to closely examine her features, as if he could find and cast away the Dreamer through sheer presence. “Then your connection isn’t magical,” he concluded. “Is it possible that he’s inside you? Part of – or in addition to – your human soul?”
That inspired a deeper frown upon the eladrin’s lips and he said, “Whatever the case we have to quickly see an end to him – so anything you can suggest would be greatly appreciated since we currently have no clues. Additionally, we now need to ensure that you don’t leave here under the direction of one of your dreams. Taking your portal key would be pointless considering the number of books here, and I’m not going to start burning books just yet. Your magic is equalized here, so an old fashioned obstruction could do the trick. Tell me, just how strong are you without magical equipment? And, can you pick locks?”
