[The Following is an Open RP for those interested]
Augustus Cillarus decides to make an advertisement across the Cage searching for eager conquestadors for a campaign against the Unseelie Fey.
The man promises glory to the bold, and treasure from the Unseelie chests to the hard working. The picking of first coin will be to the one who brings him the head of the Unseelie General.
When he assembles the Mercinaries involved he begins with a carefully instructed plan:
"Greetings, friends, denizens, people of the city. I welcome you with open arms to this temporary war camp."
The Camp in question was assembled on the Northern ridge of their strategic target, they were overlooking the possition the Commander was intent on conquering.
"This region as you can see overlooks the traditional Waterfall area many a Planewalker passes through. I have noticed, this is where the Unseelie gather their minor lieutenants and magic weavers."
He paused to face the group. "If you wonder what the significance of such a small place is? Then wonder no more, the truth is this will be our staging ground to assault the enemy. Firstly, we will conquer this region and give it to the rightful Seelie rulers thus perminently liberating it from the Unseelie once and for all.
It will also cause the Unseelie regiments gathered here to be disrupted, their leaders removed from the equasion we will begin plans immediatley to negociate with the Seelie for a small troop of scouts."
He put a hand to the campaign map and gestured Northward.
"From there, our next phase begins, we begin liberating the outlaying mountain vale from the Unseelie troops gathered there, they will be disorganised and their morale weak from the loss of their lesser commanders. They are cannonfodder troops and thus easy picking for our men."
"Our ideal point of attack is here..." He gestured to a hallow gladed tree and across. "...This riverbank would hold perfect for archers and spellcasters to keep the enemy at bay while the main mercinaries hold the line."
"If we have the rare fortune of a cavalry unit, or some heavy support, such as beasts, high celestials or... other beings we will use them to break the enemy assault by flanking it from the middle of the river."
He drove an arrow across the river line then spun it around.
"This same unit of beasts will then turn around and repeat the process like a snake, cutting through the enemy horde untill we have thinned them into a retreat."
"If this plan goes without flaw, we liberate this region of the Beastlands from the Unseelie, perminently. We will have the gratitude of its local populus, the Seelie, which we will request riches from in turn for our service. Each of these riches will be handed out to you all fairly and distributed evenly to your societies."
"With that said, and all that has been said done, any questions?"
The small unit he had managed to muster would remain otherwise silent, but any of the other local mercs might want to make their questions now.

Daevos would arrive, obviously reeking of grog as per usual. He grabs a seat, setting a keg of grog next to him. "Yar might wanna grab a riverboat an sum crewmen. *loud belch* or a few fer wha' its werth." He pulls out a jeweled mug and taps the keg, pouring himself some grog. "An 'e may want meself tae look after dem. Take a trip to 'te prime called Auronis, the coastal city o Myr. Dey can vouch fer me skills more than enough." He grins, exposing some silver, gold and missing teeth before taking a big swig of grog. "As fer my share o dese so called 'riches', I already know what I want." He would just grin, keeping the though of owning a few 'wenches' within his own head.

The camp overlooking the waterfall is probably quite close to the cave occupied by Drakos and Sandy.
Sandy: Oh, look, breakfast!
Drakos: No no dear, i they look like regular humanoids. Unless they are here causing mischief I don't think you can eat them.
Sandy: Oh... well, perhaps we should go and say hello then. Or perhaps play a trick on them..... oh yes, let's have some fun!
Drakos: Hmm... i am curious though why they are here. I think we best go talk to them.
Sandy: *looking dissapointed* No fun? Ill make you pay for that later you know.
Drakos: Not now. Let's speak to them and if they prove troublesome, you can have your fun.
Sandy: *smiles*
They exit the cave, Sandy taking the form of a female elf dressed in white robes, Drakos staying in his Aasimar form for the moment, wearing his green robes and holding his staff.
They make their way out and seek out the leader of the camp.
---------------------------------
As they arrive Sandy whispers to Drakos: Stay quiet, let me do the talking, you'll just say something stupid and annoy them.
Drakos gives Sandy a withering look, but nods.
Whoever they meet, Sandy opens the conversation by saying:
Dear Sir. We are but two wandering pilgrims seeking a little food and rest. My name is the Lady Alefrund and this is the wise man Baurimir, who has taken a vow of silence *Drakos coughs at this to which Sandy kicks his shin*. Pray good sir, could you spare a little food and water?

[Daevos]
Augustus nodded, he would not doubt the mans skill even if his demenour was not what he had traditionally expected, none the less he could make do with what he was given. His word was given that Daevos was to be given first pick of the Unseelie captives, especially the women.
[Sandy And Drakos]
Augustus smiled warmly.
"Welcome Lady Alefrund, you and your companion are more than welcome to your share of our rations though I fear they might not be up to noble fey standard." Augustus smiled softly. "Still, we will provide for you what we can, tell me, why a pilgrimmage to the Beastlands?"
The man had an inquisitive eye about him, he had a soft face, but a strong and wise gaze in his eye that suggested he could not easily be fooled. She would have to work on a very convincing story.

Sandy holds Drakos by the hand, occasionally gripping it tightly if she senses Drakos is about to open his mouth.
Sandy: "Ah, kind sir. Not a pilgrimage to the Beastlands, we dwell in Elysium but are returning from a visit to Ysgard, to consult with with Norns at the Well of Urd.
My friend here, the wise man, i'm afraid consulted overlong, and it shattered his already feeble mind," *she cannot contain a smile at this, while Drakos skin changes from its customary copper to have a bit of a purple tinge. Sandy grips his hand more tightly* "for now, when he speaks, he speaks words of madness, and thus, he must remain silent until we can heal his poor deranged mind." *Drakos chokes a little at that and Sandy continues* "Ah, the knowledge is difficult for him to bear, it sometimes affects his digestion."
"But good sir, we would be honoured to share what simple fare you have, and add to the repast a small collection of nuts and berries we have upon our persons.
And perhaps, while we feast, you could tell us what a great and bold company such as yours is doing here in the wilds of Brux? "

[Sandy And Drakos]
Augustus takes a long time while sitting by a small makeshift bench, offering a seat to both... he listens intently to every word said while watching the cripples reaction to everything, including what he was certain was a distinctive moment of queer shift in the mans skin colour.
Despite that, he seemed oblivious to it, or intended to let that be the case as he smiled warmly and offered each a cup of wine to fill their bellies.
"My presense here is a noble one Lady Alefrund, my men and I come not as invaders, but liberators."
He gestured over the horizon, mostly to the Unseelie hordes infesting the land.
"Beyond this side of the mountain you see an army in wait, constantly harrasing Seelie convoys and Fey citizens. I grow tired of seeing such a threat so close to my own homeland of Aborea, so it is time not only to act, but to change."
He gestured down to the caves below, in the distance, noting a few Unseelie troops on occasion gathering and leaving.
"From here, they cannot see us, but we can monitor them. Those caverns lead directly to some of their lesser leadership and more importantly, their most essential source of supplies. The caverns themselves are adjacent to a pure wellspring, which is good for supplying fresh water to thirsty troops.
More importantly, this particular mountain region is ideal for a height advantage against any attempt the Seelie make against them, which is why I have had my troop marched here, so that we, now have the high ground."
He replied honestly, but in doing so he smiled.
"Elysium is a favoured spot of mine and I am on good terms with the people of Ysgard through one of their devoted priestesses.
Since what you say is honest..." Did she hear a tone of sarcasm behind that? Perhaps not, he seemed to grin either way, as if letting her presume him naieve. "You will be welcome to stay within our camp for as long as you need before your passing... though I must warn you, we go to battle soon, and it may be best you not remain longer than is necessary."

Sandy: A fight with the unseelie? How noble Captain! Well, we certainly feel safer surrounded by such brave fellows.
Since the hour is late, and we have travelled a long way, we would like to retire. Unfortunately, we lost our tent and most of our possessions on the way here, waylaid by bandits if you can believe it!
Might we may be allowed the use of one of your tents for the nonce? We have but a few Pine Cones and our goodwill with which to repay your generosity and hospitalty, will it suffice?

Daevos would somewhat stagger his way on over and look the "couple" over. "So who be 'ere wearin te pants outta ye two?" He would grin at the remark he himself thought was funny. "Aye regardless, 'ave yerselves a mug if ye so wish." He would gesture to a keg of grog nearby his own 'camp'.
He would then turn to Augustis. "Ay can scrounge tegether a few crews quick enou if need be, outta wha'ver ye want te contribute, as well as perhaps parleying with te denizens of sigil." He would of course have his mug of grog at hand, taking a swig every now and then.

[Sandy]
Augustus mused on her offer and smirked. "Of course my lady, you may stay for as long as it pleases you, if you wish, ill have two of the men guard your tent, if not, im sure you can be left to your own devices in peace."
[Daevos]
After pondering the suggestion made by the rowdy man, he nodded. "We have a day or two to spair, see who you can muster in that time... though make sure they are well supplied for the trip, we cant afford to be overly generous."
[Augustus Himself]
He went now to the planning area where one of his Aborean Advisors stood by his side.
"Should we trust the maid and her companion?" The man asked to the Legate of the troop.
Augustus being that Legate, smirked. "What ever their real intention, so far it does not seem hostile, we can give them patience if nothing else. All you need inform the men is be aware of them, but be tolerant, we have come here to be liked, not hated."
The advisor nodded and relayed the order to the lieutenant in command of the small band. The man informed his troops in turn to be 'aware' of their guests, but not to do anything unless they showed questionable intent.
With that, Augustus went back to the Lady and her Mute with a sympathetic smile. "So then, lets find you a tent to your liking."

Daevos would take his leave at that time. A note would be pinned to the camps notice board. "Off te Recruit some able-bodied crewmen, will be back in a day or three. Also, we need lumber, if ships are not provided, so get crakin' on getting te lumber, pitch and nails. gonna need a few riverboats."
He would then make a return trip and visit various inns and taverns on recruitment duty. ((Will make a seperate thread for that))
