Show the people of the Cage that the Triad are there to serve, direct, and protect them. Don't do this by holding moronic and self-serving arena tournaments. Do this by ostentatiously donating to the Orphanage in the Lady's Ward.

The note is bought to Caterina's attention as she visited the Golden Bariur in the lady's ward at lunch time. She had no idea where the letter was from or why she of all the members of the triad was singled out, but as the letter was signed with an Ed denoting an editors comment like the one that had followed her recent article in SIGIS she could hazard a guess that the author either read SIGIS or worked for them. It didn't matter she had been challenged and SIGIS was the best way to answer it. Of course she wrote a letter in reply. wrote:

Having read your letter there are a few things that I would like to address. What members of the triad do in their own time is entirely there business and it is their legal right to pursue profit as private individuals. It is your legal right to complain and voice your disapproval about it should you disagree with it something the forces of the triad will actually protect. When the revolutionary league was criticized in these pages they did not seem to respect that particular freedom.
You ask me to demonstrate that the triad serves directs and protects the people of Sigil, so I shall do so. Recently the Harmonium has undertaken a program to provide food medical attention and shelter to the needy of the hive, as well as a notice board so citizens can voice their concerns. The work of Notary Thorn. When a plague ravaged the hive it was again the Harmonium on hand to establish a quarantine and offer aid, under the instruction of measure Cryptbane this time, and finally when a number of refugees were stranded here the Yriad went to great lengths to feed cloth and house them, this was the work of a Fraternity member who's name modesty compels me to forget. It is to my great dismay that these incidents did not receive more coverage in SIGIS but I understand we live in a cynical world where good news does not sell papers and SIGIS as a publication has a right to seek a profit. In much the same way a Justicar who runs a business in her spare time has a right to do so for example.
Which brings me to the final point. I am sure this letter of yours us written in good faith and public spirit and not a cynical attempt to sell papers. So whatever you personally or SIGIS as a publication wish to donate to the orphanage in the hive I shall match.
I eagerly await your reply.
Caterina Arnders.
P.S If anyone at SIGIS reading this could give me the answer to four down in yesterdays crossword it would be appreciated. Much to my embarrassment I am stuck.
//And as I am aware that some time ago that there was some concern about players using npcs to further their goals and make their causes look good, and generally do what cat is doing now and because I don't want to be thought of as doing that. The three examples she quotes can be found here:
