A letter is sent out to the Factions. It is an official document stamped by the Fraternity. It reads as follows;

I, on behalf of the Fraternity of Order as Bureau Chief of Interfaction Affairs, am organizing a summit to discuss the current state of affairs of the city, the Factions that exist here, their responsibilities and their obligations to this city. As of late there has been much inconsistency and uncertainty in how the city is managed and who has what jurisdictions.

If you would like to participate in this summit, to openly discuss these issues and perhaps put many grievances to rest, please appear in Conference room 23 at the city courts in two daysÂ’ time. It is likely that the Summit will take several days so whomever you assign to represent you should have a clear calendar for that time. Please come prepared to speak openly and without threat. No weapons, armors or other such things will be permitted by any attendees.

I look forward to open discussion with you all and hope to see your Factions well represented.

///now, the ooc disclaimer. This is my first step in trying to solve the issues of “who gets to do what” in the city. It pops up from time to time that some things are viewed as imbalanced in rights and responsibilities. So… let’s work it out IC. Please keep it civil and IC and let’s have some fun with it. This is not going to be an “It’s us against them - Let’s screw the Triad as much as we can!” summit, it’s going to be a “let’s work this out to everyone’s benefit” summit. Represent your Factions but be professional. Two characters per faction is permitted to allow more people to join but please keep it to one faction per player. Don’t try to represent two factions with one person just because they play multiples or alts. Make a choice and stick with it.

One thing I donÂ’t want is for people to RP this Summit (or any part of it) in game until itÂ’s finished. No side deals unless itÂ’s stated that ((X and Y meet during a recess or in the evening between sittings or they stand off to the side and chat or pass a note)). LetÂ’s play fair.

Charae would put in to attend the summit, adjusting her schedule to allow the time to do so. As for who would accompany her, she had a number of good Justices to pick from that may or may not want to take part.

She would send the messages out according to seniority to see which one wanted to attend.

The lesser doomlord Mauric arrived at the appointed date. Wearing a long tattered black robe filled with holes and tears. The lower part of his face visible the upper hidden by a cowl. The pleasant mien he usually wore was replaced with a dour sinister expression. Awaiting to be let into the room

((Shouldn't these things be drawn from sourcebook materials rather than reformed into a homebrew that will likely cause a lot confusion and leave no room for DM/EM event friendly interpretations? Just a thought.))

Knowing that many of The Mortuary's luminaries care little for the cages's political wheeling and dealing Emila goes herself. She sends an open invitation through the ranks of The Dead for someone to accompany her but she does not hold her breath, at least not metaphorically for a response. She would arrive in her Faction's hooded robes her usual quirky manner gone her face an unblinking emotionless mask that only an undead can muster.

Hasclaan Guunt, takes a folder, an inkpot and a pen and makes his way to the summit.

((Have decided against using Hograth as I want to give Has some screentime too and my halforc is involved in some investigations anyway.

Kiera responds to Charae's summons and attends the summons, decked in her red and black armor and bearing her badge. She's quiet and stoic as usual when she arrives.

///Some spheres might change, yes.... depending on how well negotiations go. The intent is to try to get other factions involved in some way and to expand their playability. If that means more responsibilities, then we'll try to work it out... but it's gotta be IC.
