"Do you suggest something happened to her soul after she was slain?"

"Perhaps it was trapped. However the only one who could have done this was this... Paladin. Say what you will but they are not somebody who will do something like this.

So perhaps her soul was trapped before the inciden- or whatever snatched away her soul was very, very powerful."

She thinks.

"The aspect or avatar of your godess or my god could do it. Perhaps a few rare master necromancers... but not many."

"You're probably right. It was probably something done before. Anything of such a magnitude after would risk the Lady's attention. Is there anything else you think I should know?"

"Nothing for now. If something comes up I will contact you at the courts."

She walks over to the chest, scribbles something on a sheet of paper.

"This are the adresses of the champions I know. Perhaps they will have information that can help your.. our cause."

Taking one of her rare trips outside of The Lady's Ward Caterina cloaks herself in invisblity to shield her from the eyes of the casual observer. She makes her way to the hive and once there she goes to The Gatehouse. Once there she ends the spell. She is dressed in her usual dark robes but she does not wear anything that marks her as one of The Fraternity of Order. Instead she has a Jasdin broach in place of her Faction badge. She heads to reception.

"I would like to speak to Gooz please. I believe she is staying here at the invitation of a Ms Everdream."

The tiefling at the reception gives Cat a small distant smile, her voice a bit slow and clumsy- it seems her mind is not exactly where it should be.

"The priestess stays in room 106. Down that corridor, first stairs to the left up, second door to the right."

As expected the corridor looks desolate, Bleakers leading some of their wards to their 'treatment' and while Caterina gets a few curious looks noone approaches her.

Caterina offers the tiefling a smile.

"Thank you for your help."

She makes her way to the mentioned room. She knocks and waits patiently.

She does not have to wait for long.

Undead do not sleep, need no rest and the door is opened after a few seconds.

The cell inside is lacking all furniture but a small chest, on which the wight made a small, makeshift altar to her dark god.

"Judge Arnders. I must admit I am surprised to see you here.", she says and her eyes fall upon the flaming skull. "Please come in."

She then fixes her eyes on a passing bleaker. "You! Get a chair and some refreshment for my guest. Be quick."

Caterina enters the undead does not bother her any more than it would another of her faith.

"Caterina will suffice, I am not here in any official capacity. I am here on behalf of my faith. At the trial you were asked why you were here in Sigil. I did not allow it as it bore no relevance to the case. I must also confess an ulterior motive. I did not want it entered into public record. Your faith is not the only one to have a relic taken and all the signs point to someone or something within Sigil orchestrating this."

The Wight does not answer until the man brings the chair and a glass of mead for Cat, then she closes the door.

"So the Jasidin were targeted as well? No surprise."

She starts to pace up and down, like a preadtor held prisoner in this cell.

"So far I have spoken to followers of Heironeus, Hextor and Boccob about this incidents and it always was the same: A relic stolen by another faith, often some that is hostile to the church in question.

I also heard that the followers of Gruumsh are involved as well, using their less than subtle methods to look for a rotting old spear.

But I think you know this already- so why do you come to see me? How can I help?"
