Maedb roamed the streets of the great Bazaar. She purchaced basic food, mostly the sort that could be stored for longer periods without deteriorating. A large quantity of healing suplies was bought as well. She sought a gate spell scroll without any success. She wandered to Khazeets after she was done with her shopping. Composing a series of letters in the relatively tranquil tavern.
Each member of their mercenary group would be sent this missive:
We are to retrive lost cargo that is belived to be held in the Town Ribcage. Report to Ganatog at his quarter within the Lower Ward without any delay.
Another larger sheet was pinned to a messageboard near Foul's Inn:
Seeking a experianced guide to lead a group into the Town of Ribcage and take us back to Sigil. Your fee will be negotiated. Leave a message in yonder inn for Maedbroghail if interested.

Maeb is not waiting at the inn long. A pale woman in dark red and black leathers visits the inn to see her. Behind her pads a large grey wolf.
"I am here about your note. I have been to ribcage before. I know a portal that will get you there and back again."

She regarded the woman with a calculated calm. But the vibrant movment of her tail revealed some anxiety.
"And the spirit of Ribcage itself are you versed in it? Their customs and laws. How to navigate within. Whom to seek for to trade information." She explaied with a few unvivid hand gestures. "I offer one thousand for the journey thitherto and and back. More will be given if you provide with other uses."

Raena sits down brushing untidy curls of long brown hair from her eyes. Maeb would notice the dirt under the nails of the hand that does so, the lack of make up and perfume and the feint odour of old leather. Clearly Raena is bothered little by appearances. Her tone is concise and quiet, her manner impassive, the grey wolf sits at her feet both gaze at the half fiend as if sizing her up.
"The physical layout of the town I recall rather well as well as many of its laws. I believe I may have away of making contact with some of the residents there. Before I do that though I have questions for you."

From near the rafters of the smoke filled longhall's cieling, two shimmering orange eyes looked down at the assembled force. Ganatog allowed himself a slight smile; though only fifteen in number, this was an exceptional group of killers. *His* killers.
They were a brutal, cold eyed lot, formed from uplifted Hive enforcers and exiled primers. The giant embraced warmly any iron willed warrior with strength in their arms and fire in their bellies. Thought hardly as skilled as his carefully recruited command group, they were a good start for the old Jotun's plans.
"In short, I will be leaving the cage for a time with Maedbroghail and two of you as guards. Kerro will command in my stead until our return. You all have your orders as to our other...business." The hulking half-ogre leaning against the far wall nodded, slamming a fist to his chest in salute.
"Hrmmm....Ruk and Khozai." A heavily scarred Bugbear stomped foward, followed by a lanky Gnoll who slinked across the hall with barely a sound made. They followed Ganatog out of the Cabal's headquarters, the acrid smoke of the Lower Ward greeting them. There was a third who Ganatog had sent word to, but Malek was an unpredictable sort. They would just have to wait and see if he heard the call.

Her golden green almond shaped eyes set on the wolf briefly. The scales on her armour rustled in each step as she walked to the window near them. Placing her hands on her hips as she gazed out. Her pristine well-kept long fiery red hair swayed faintly at her calves dabbed in motion by her tail occationally.
"Query. If coin be not a answer that suffice."
While sizing her up Raena would immediately note her elven features that could not be missed. Her armour bore a strange resemblance to elven designs but it seemed ancient. Whether she were of abyssal or baatorian heritage was too hard for the eye to descry. Her demeanor was that of a pround warrior. Three distinct emblems could easily be spotted.

((Just a small reminder Mander:
Please keep bringing in NPCs of your own to a minimum and remember as NPCs they are under the game master's control.
Ganatog can issue commands to them but their actions are described the same way as the actions of hostile or neutral NPCs.
Also remember this mission will probably earn only about the 12k gold promised by Essal so the more people get involved the less cash overall- after all soldiers want to be payed. :P ))

She sits back her expression is ever calm.
"I would like to know why you are going to ribcage. I would like to know why as well as a guide you need a source of information within the town. This would suggest to me you are unprepared denoting a certain amount of haste. Why? What are you running after, or from?"

Her eyes widened and her gaze intensified as she turned her head towards Raena.
"Of what concern is this to you?" She said with a acrimonious tone. She paused and her expression and tone shifted towards normal. "I seek objects that have been stolen and taken thereto. Hidden mayhap. Sold mayhap. Or on it's course deeper in to Baator. Hence the need of haste."

She notes the reaction but remains calm.
"It is my concern because if I go with you what happens will reflect upon me. I insist on knowing what cause I will be aiding. You can be evasive to prove a point if you like, another guide may come along soon, but I believe we have established you are in a hurry."
