The Masquerade Ball

Kalastria had found what she was looking for: the secret to eternal life and beauty lay within her grasp. She had thoroughly researched vampirism both in her homeland of Ustalav and in the Hall of Records (acccess to which she had, thanks to her ally Felicia Erianne). There remained only one issue: convincing the right vampire to sire her.....
Felicia had enlisted her help in finding her wayward brother, who, by the given description was a foppish nobleman of sorts. In exchange, the items Felicia had loaned her would become gifts instead of a loan. Thus Kalastria had two issues to solve.
It came to her while socializing in the bazaar: an epiphany! The perfect idea to kill two birds with one stone: she would organize a ball for wealthy and influential nobles of Sigil, an expensive social event, to which she would invite the city's wealthy or influential for an evening of entertainment and socializing. This would draw out Felicia's foppish brother into a public place, as well as quite possibly attracting a few of the city's rich noble vampires...
Felicia seemed intrigued by the idea, and suggested a masquerade ball, with colourful masks worn by the guests. A thoroughly delightful twist, thought Kalastria, and so she went off to find a venue for this event.
OOC So basically this is what my character Kalastria will try to organize. I will of course need a lot of DM help on this, but I think it has the potential to involve a majority of the server's characters in a juicy roleplay event. The rich wealthy types like Duke Rowan of the Fated or factol Erin of the Sensates would need to be played of course. The poorer, less influential people might still be useful as messengers, hired guards, caterers, performers, ect, so I'm not trying to exclude anyone.
The venue most appropriate would have to be faction-neutral, thusly I think the Foul Olde Spirit inn would serve best....it has the jukebox for music, plenty of room for socializing and intrigue, two floors for the party to take place in, ect.
I'm hoping to spend the next week or two organizing the event, which will involve hiring messengers to hand-deliver the invitations, hiring the caterers, bards, and private security. With a bit of DM help I think a lot of people could get involved, so fun all around. I'd like to get some feedback on this and discuss the scheduling as soon as possible. The 25th or 26th of June might be a good date for it, but we could have it the week after, on the 2nd or 3rd of July (both are saturdays and sundays)
