Something new has come to undersigil. In the past few weeks an elegantly dressed, colourful tiefling with a short mop of hair has been spreading flyers welcoming the reader to something called the serpent's gaze. The flyer promises entertainment, companionship and quality meals and drinks for the discerning customer.

On the opening night the darkness of the undersigil town's streets are lit up by a chain of coloured lanterns leading to a newly renovated, richly decorated building that an observant one could say is as big as Muriel's, maybe slightly wider. The doorway of the three floor building is guarded but left halfway open, allowing the sweet scents and light from the inside to reach the street.

Inside, all the appropriate rooms have been prepared for the guests with magic lights dancing under the domed ceiling of the main hall, it's corners rounded. This, along with the billowing silk drapes hung under them, dimming the moving glow, creates a dreamlike atmosphere. This is further enchanced by sense amplifying insence, intoxicating the guests with great pleasure and filling the rooms with a sweet scent.
Semi-private booths draped in more silk create some privacy and the bar, tended by a green skinned Seelie feycreature of all things, serves a number of unusual drinks you'd normally have to travel very far to come by. Naturally, such things come with the appropriate cost but there's also some of the local fare. The dishes offered are just as diverse and costly, ranging from the most exotic to the local delicacies.

Of course, beautiful men and women of various races offer their delicate services all around the establishment. Their attires vary from blatantly seductive to more reserved, mysterious ones, many of them wear elaborate masquerade masks as well, lending to the mystery. To a side there's another hall, dedicated to gambling. Only dice and cards provided by the establishment may be used there. Upstairs are the rooms, Kree's office located on the second floor. Those who go downstairs will find a clean, heated swimming pool and changing rooms with shower avaliable.

There's also an empty hallway leading to a locked room. Its functions are mostly in dark but some would say it's a meeting room dedicated to special occasions...

Music is played throughout the evening by a number of skilled mistrels and at the middle of the eve, Kree comes out, elaborately dressed as always, to perform a few songs and sticks around for a while after that to provide ambience until she's pleased and relieved by the next band, thanking the guests for coming to share in their being.

(intended as a RP thread. Feel free to add what your characters might do on the opening night and thereafter)

The grand opening was attended by one woman dressed in a black short satin dress also bearing small black mask who took a prominent booth for watching the entertainment and requested a tasting of the establishment's 'finest' wines, ordering them to charge it to monsieur Aerrron's account.

Other 'guests' and owner, if they passed by the booth to greet might overhear her few comments of the place, in particular upon the 'eenteresteeng choice of name forr thees place of pleasurre ' and that she expected its attractions would cause her to 'visite eet often weeth mon cheri' as she sat back leisurely to sip the wine, redtipped fingers like talons toying with an antique gold necklace as she critically assessed the wine and the next musical perfomances with sultry smile to her rouged lips.

The man known to own the territory around Serpent's Gaze took a surprisingly modest position that evening. The Indep merchant didn't make any public announcements. Hildmor d'Kridis, dressed in rather regal purple robes observed the opening queitly from his table, with a glass of wine and a light dish, talking to various merchants and other "businessmen" attending the establishment's first day. After Kree was finished with the songs, he'd politely ask her to join him at the table.

"This is a victory, my dearest." - Hildmor smiles warmly, motioning at the quite big gathering in the main hall.

Outside a ruckus can be heard as the streets swell with orcs in iron armour marked with red paint and hand prints.

It seems the Iron Tusk has swelled in numbers dramatically in the last hours and unfortunately a large amount of them may have just spotted the Serpent's Gaze.

"Love, you know what to do but I still. You don't need any cheap orcs here. The captains, the ones who can pay and won't act destructively should be able to enjoy this place...You have enough security units to kick the others out...and if the ones you let in misbehave, teach them with pain. That's what I advice you to. It's your establishment to care about after all" - Hildmor takes another sip of his wine.

At some point during the evening. The elf Darremar decided to observe that which he could of this establishment. Knowing what he did from earlier conversations. He thought it at the least informative after a manner.

He would most certainly take note of any rowdy newcomers. Although such would undoubtably be quelled "Hopefully" or if not at the least it would grant the elf a chance to watch a cultural hazing unfold upon the latest establishment to grace the undersigil.

Through the crowd nudges a huge dark skinned orc in a very posh suit. As he draws near the front it becomes clear the figure is Vorgazar.

he turns around and slaps some orcs across the head and shoves them out the way before a gap finally opens and Vorgazelle appears through the mob dressed in a slinky black number with her hair looking all eloquent and wonderfully well done.

She walks awkwardly in the heels which she is obviously not used to so Vorgazar attempts to take her arm and assist her with balance.

"Dis place is for da fookin posh okays so all youz scrotes is can fook off unless youz gots some heavy jink bagz and a nice fookin posh cloths like whot we does isn't it!" He bellows at the orcs.

Slowly the mob disperses and but a few of the superior types remain. A slightly more acceptable customer to the Serpent's Gaze.

Vorgazar looks his woman up and down with a perverted glare in his eye. He wasn't used to women looking this good for him, perhaps it was the elven taint that made her scrub up so well. One thing was for certain, they would definitly be hiring out one of the private rooms later.

The Warchief licked one of his tusks and then one of hers aswell before they approached the main entrance.

Fargul entered the place, a little after Vorgazar, in a smoothe Black suit, however it looks slightly sloppy. He walked inside with Kira, at his side. Smoking as always, he looked around the room, first of all showing his company off to Hildmor, discretely.

"Tha's free Booze fer me n' ma folks fer th' next 5 years, eh?"

Then he joined a few card games, enjoyed a few drinks with Kira and had a dance or two (even though he's a poor dancer). Also he would talk to all sorts of people finding contacts for future business. All in all, he kept it a rather pleasant evening either way.... Knocking out two or three berks on the way, discretely.

Shard sat in a corner booth and watched the spectacle. He watched the mistress tend to her customers, he watched Hildmor tend to his mistress and saw Vorgazar tend to the Orcs. He slowly sipped his whiskey and a slight grin appeared on his face. It was only months ago when this armpit of a village blighted the darkness of UnderSigil... now it had become so much more. He slightly raised a glass to no one in particular and and drank it back.

His hard work pays off...

Hildmor raises his glass at Fargul, smiling.

"You never specified where, my friend. And this establishment doesn't belong to me. See, I believe its mistress will not agree on such terms. However, tell Khazeet all your drinks are on me. He still owes me afew months of free drinks and so I am not losing anything."
