After a long investigation Nostheroth of the umber Scales, once high priest of the Temple of The Abyss was tracked to where he fled in Undersigil by a combined force of Harmonium and Mercykiller officers. They tired to arrest him on charges of murder he resisted and was killed in the confrontation. The death of one of the cage's most powerful figures had a number of consequences.

The Abyssal Temple: Being the chaotic nest of vipers that it is the removal of the only authority figure who kept it in line the temple seems to be on the verge of anarchy as its many cults ready themselves to place one of their own in Nostheroth's place.

Mauric Ashterot: Thanks to his cooperation with The Triad Mauric is offered a pardon for his crimes and is free to walk the streets of The Cage once again, but he has almost certainly got the Triads attention now.

The Harmonium and the Doomguard: With Mauric's pardon there is no pretext for the Harmonium to take action against his factioneers. Of course the two Factions are often at each others throats and The Cage holds its breath waiting for their next skirmish.

Magrello: The young man arrested in The Barracks is soon transferred to The Gatehouse and back into the care of The Bleak Cabal. Those observing him describe him as good natured and mild mannered and he soon has a job tending the gardens. He seems to have no recollection of what happened, or what he has done.

Hasclaan returns to his usual duties, the who matter had evolved into a most inexpected direction. Yet he is pleased with himself, being a step closer to one of his goals, having learned quite a lot.

Back at his table in the courts he pours himself another cup of coffee, then gets to work on all the paperwork that had accumulated in the meanwhile.

((Was really good. Thank you. ))

Charae was not so pleased with the turn of events, though she keeps to herself as to why. The dark elf returned to her assignments within the Prison.

((Very impressed, few could have pulled this off as smoothly as this. ))

Walking out of the prisons enclosure he squinted in the pallor of peak-light struck him.

Everything breaks. Ideals shatter, alliances twists until they snap like a rope into hundreds of tiny threads. Ruin is the name of all paths, whether one wills it or not as had this been. The guise of innocence was forever broken, as was his membership within the Doomguard revealed to everyone whereas very few had discovered it before. The days of undercover work was likley over for good. Set up and set out he had been used but this set back would be turned to his advantage, the doomguard's and ultimately the abyss through a new stronger temple. That or ruin shall claim me.

Still masked he struggled with every step. Sleep had been bereft from him for a long time. Vison faltered and the brightness that wasn't very bright seared his tierd eyes flickering as painful white shadows without form before him. In his sorid state he dragged himself back to the Armoury.

Chari is not pleased by the results of this investigation. Upon hearing that Noshano was killed during the confrontation she sadly takes her head and goes back to her regular duties among the Harmonium.

She is not satisfied nor pleased in the least.

Kelth McEwan

Pinned to the hull of an airship under construction in Marshby's workshop, was left a letter and enveloppe. It's contents being a declaration of ownership of the Taigh to both Odette and Lance.
Another copy of letter was left at the Siren, pinned to it's door to cabin.

"Dear Odette, Lance and Dace,

It goes without saying, I wish you three all the best, happiness and a bright future, whatever you three aspire to achieve. I know you will pull through no matter what.

Life knows odd twists and turns and as we all three know, plenty a hardship.

I learned that through all and everything, I never really faced the truth as much as I have done the past half year. I am a relic....a monolith, of times past and that is fine. I plan to make my return to Toril and see what I can make out of what years I have left. Home is where the heart is, they say. I tried to create that in Sigil and I failed. I am who I am, and that is forever, Kelth McEwan. I should return to my people, my home, my roots and embrace that which I have been trying to run away from all those years, which is, a simple life.

I am grateful for the memories I always will have in my heart with all of you.

I am leaving the Taigh in hands of Odette and Lance. I am certain you two will be creative enough to give it life.

Rest assured, with my presence gone, so will the threat that lay onto it be.

Dace, I am sorry to leave matters as they are, but I can not continue to live a lie in Sigil. Should there be any moment you need my presence given the choices you had to make or perhaps have made already...a message to the Snarling Wolf lodge shall suffice and I -will- make an appearance to stand with you.

Feel free to crash into Rashemen if you feel like it. You will find a warm welcome in my home.

Morrigan bless your blades.

Always remembering you....

-Kelth McEwan "
