Hasclaan makes a rather mocking, inviting gesture. He had cleared the path for her some time ago anyway.

"Go. And remember to tell them what I said."

''aye'' says as she plops into the crypts, bearing with the mockery. as soon as she's out of the antimagic field her wards and invocations reactivates, the bags available again. when out of sight from anyone she takes out some things, securing them onto her person, blasted magic bags...
perhaps she hears an echo of dorian's shout, perhaps not. she tries to shadow meld to see if it works properly now, and walks on to reach those three

Hasclaan watches her dive down into the tunnels and he pulls his cloak tighter around his shoulders.

"It is up to you now.", he addresses the priest. "I suggest you wait a few minutes for an answer then follow her if necessary. And be careful there might be surprises.

However you have my support, I am yours to command in this. Tell me where you need me."

The way he adresses the priest and knights is very different to how he adressed the Doomguard- gone is his mockery and arrogance- his posture and voice as usual now- somewhat distant and calm but polite.

AS Mauric couldn't grasp the nature of the runes he reveled in the hostile atmosphere. But he knew well that dealing with this creature wasnt something you best did rashly.

-If this is what he crave. Give it to him. Myself I am more intersested in the power you claimed you could offer, if it is accepteble by what I consider to be valuble that is. You offered knowledge and power did you not? The details remains to be settled however.

-Your evasive answers are worth nothing to us. You know that. We are not interested in stoping the rampaging demons. Infact since you seem blind to this opporuntiy I might aswell leave this place. I'm sure the Tanar'ri will treat you well when they find you.

-Make your offer and spare us the drivel this time. I have a plan for your escape.

The old man laughs at the two doomguard, and the runes that are carved into the chamber begin to glow and hum as if struggling to contain something. Smoke rises from his fingertips and shoulders and before long a roaring flame, Hellfire Mauric would recognize begins to engulf him burning at his flesh making it blacken sing and then eventually melt away of his bones. Throughout all this he continues to chuckle joke and laugh.

"Things like knowledge and power are comparative. Compared to you I have a lot of both, for example I know the Tanar'ri are not here to take the city even though most of them do not."

There is a cracking hissing sound as bones rearranged themselves and the burning mess before them seems to grow.

"I know the Heronites even now bar your exit from the crypts that the look out you left up there was unable to stop them. So let me tell you what I will do for you. I will leave here to return to Dis which is where the Heronites are trying to keep me from. I will allow you both to come to and pass safely to Sigil along with the construct your masters in the doomguard value so highly. Neither of you will need to face the murderous zealots above or the hoard of monsters that will overwhelm them.

As for you judge, I cannot tell you where your god is but I can tell you where the other living survivor of your prime is.

And you warlock I feel the pacts you have made, the hellfire that you struggle to control I can do much for that, make it burn brighter, make the devils you call much more reliable.

It occurs to me I do only need one of you to free me."

By the time the burning twisting mess has finished the two of them are confronted with a towering dark figure with dark red wings a bestial snout and a a wreath of flame around it. If either of them possessed any knowledge of Baatezu they would realize they are in the presence of a pit fiend.

**********************************************************************

Above the priest turns to Ayase.

"Tell your friends to return to here within five minutes or we will be forced to retrieve them from the crypts, and this time we cannot afford to be merciful."

He then turns to Hasclaan.

"I think we can handle this from here, I can only imagine one out come. They'll need you at the keep if you know as much as you seem to. We do not have long."

Dorian gasps "Another survivor? Another judge? No... you called me last Judge when you spoke to me in my head. Either you lied or are deceiving me in some other way.

I do not trust you, and if you have no knowledge of my god, then you are worthless to me.

If another judge lives, I will find him, without your help!"

Dorian turns to Mauric and says:

"He only needs one of us to help, so stop fingering that blade and getting clever ideas about poking me with it. He's all yours. Free it or leave it as you will.

The Harbingers have no recorded prophecy that this prime shall fall at this time. I go to ensure it does not. Entropy is like a fine wine, best enjoyed in small sips to savor the taste. I will assist with the defense of the city."

He turns to speak to the Pit Fiend again:

"Should you wish to deal with me openly in the future and have the knowledge that i desire, assuming my brother here releases you, send word to me at the Armoury in Sigil. Maybe we could come to an arrangement."

Assuming Mauric or the Fiend do not attempt to stop him, Dorian turns on his heel and leaves the chamber.

Hasclaan gives a short bow and turns, leaving the temple.

Once outside he takes a deep breath, looking up at the sky, then over the city, taking in this scenery in a rare moment of reverie.

Again he pulls his mind back to the present, not letting himself being caught in the past. Feeling his casting powers return and his enchanted items regaining their function he prepares himself for war- and soon he hurries towards the citadel now carrying a crossbow on his back and a sword resembling a blade golem's limb rests in a makeshift sheat on his left hip.

ayase didn't much reply to the priest, already hopping in when he spoke.
eventually the shadow meld to hide worked, or not. she'd be probably in sight of her group now, all but trustful toward them. perhaps her fellows wont see her approaching, but the fiend might. if only there weren't dimensional anchors cast about...

- Good luck. I'll probably join you later. Once this is finished. *He said to Dorian*

The warlock then unfolded a scroll made of a fine skin. Then he took off his braclet and drew a small quill with a Cold iron tip and sank it into his wrist

((I'll be good a few days too, back at sunday))

So he was alone witht he devil. The creature could now focus solely on him, disadvantageous of course. This devil was difrent some how. Perhaps it alredy had strayed from the Baatezu. Then the breaking of this contract will do little. To make a devil fall that is a challange. Brigthest of all the gems in the hoard, that is the treasure of souls which I have dragged with me to the final destination. He had made these contracts Before, some were won but far more had ended in disaster for Mauric the corruptor. He formed the lines so it seemed passable but in truth more tempting to break. He wrote in infernal with his own blood:

Contract of aid releasing the signer of this document from imprisonment

The signer of this document will recive aid to break out from the total of one confinement with the following terms being fulfilled by the signer of this document.

1. The singner of this document will not make any action or act that is harmful to the author of this document nor will the signer of this document incite or through any other being, element or dead mass to do so.

2. The signer of this document will empower the author of this contract usuage of Hellfire in terms of intesified flame that will burn even hotter and be more deadly without harming the author of this contract beyond what it did proir to this document being signed. The duration of this clause is perpetual.

3. The signer of this document will supply the master of the author of this document with 8 souls from Baator with greater value than the author of this document within the maximum time span equal to 3 full moons on Toril.

4. The signer of this document will take no active part in the Blood War perpetual.

5. The singer of this document will aid the Tanar'ri in the destruction Bright Sentry for no less than 3 full Days and 3 full nights on Oerth.

6. The singer of this document will deliver 6000 Pound of Baatorian steel to the armory in Sigil within the same time limit as clause 3. The said amount shall be given to the Doomgaurd without fee.

7. Three minior task will be performed by the signer of this document at the leisure of the author of this document at the time of his own choosing after the author has left the plane of Oerth. Of these are including the slaying of a devil lower in power than the signer of this document which by the author of this document is choosen.

8. The Doomguard Ramal is to be taken dead or alive to the armory in Sigil by the signer of this document if the three other doomguards are not able to do so after the fall of Bright Sentry or the happening of vanquishment of the Tanar'ri siege.

9. The signer of this document will be completly obidient to the author of this document for the duration of 1 day and 1 night on the prime of Oerth.
