A Hunt For Ravens!

The creature takes the blow without flinching, snarls at Emila.

"Can't give you those- have none myself."

It cackles madly, its body's ropelike muscles tense and it is obvious that it would like nothing more than ripping its 'hosts' apart in the most interesting and creative ways.

"Not the only one? How many more of you lot are there then?" Verdant asks.

Then he pauses and looks at the demon with some alarm. "Who else have you targeted?"

The demon cringes, that cursed spell, that hated spell forcing it to answer those whose entrails he would gladly scatter all over the place.

"Two more... ine hunting the last free raven the other the girl that freed that general."

[*StarSight]

"Freed the-? Oh hells. We've got to move." Verdant looks at Emila. "We can talk on the move, I imagine." Looking back at the demon, he asks, "Do you know where either of them are?"

[*Midnight]

"Juliana is the only raven who is not an eldarin, she is a mortal. She is also the reason why the temple of the abyss are terrified. We are going to get her back, and then if you like we will encourage Ms Thurus to reveal where the remaining two assassins are."

Kiuna feels herself being watched- a rustling in the bush nearby the portal and there was some movement as well. A large rat is trying to scuttle away, rushing towards the Lower Ward.

Kiuna reaches out to stop him, but Anacail is too fast for her. With a seemingly effortless flexing of his powerful hind legs, he pounces and tries to pin the rat.

"A mortal? How did she get involved in this? For that matter, given miss Thurus' kill-bounty...why is she still alive then?"

[*Selebius]

The kelvezu bows, mockingly it seems, then it just vanishes with a 'plop' the air rushing into the space it just had occupied.

A few hours later a woman in fine clothes asks for Emila at the mortuary, those able to see invisible creatures see the demon standing behind her, leering.

The quasit looks at both of them, surprised- then it cackles, fluttering up high into the air and Kiuna notices how it uses its powers to become invisible.


Then it is gone. Or so it seems.
