He inclines his head to the woman. "Just remember unleashing something is easier than putting the leash back on it."

Shamus nods to Julius

"You'll have your warhounds. Our handlers like to give the dogs proper exersize.

The Mercykillers are reknowned for their abilites of sniffing out the hidden and flushing them into the open. I look forward to seeing this in application. As they run from you... they run into us."

He nods at the Guvner's comment then turns to the Hardheads again.

"If the Mover agrees I will send word to the prison. My squad should arrive shortly... and after I briefed them they are yours to assign to your squads."

Shamus ponders a moment...

"Three squads, set up properly, could hit three targets at the same time and capture a great many vermin before they even know it's morning...

Let's say my squad, as an example. Six members including me. Two would be shock Troopers, two would be Mercykillers and a third would be a handler and his warhound. Once at the raid site, The unit was to break up into two groups. The first group, led by a Mercykiller (and accompanied by the Hound and handler and a Trooper) would force their way into the building to flush out the anarchists inside. They would engage the enemy, attempting to immobilize them and if unsuccessful, would herd them outside.

The second group, led by Myself and backed up by the second Mercykiller and trooper, would engage any fleeing suspects with orders to immobilize, or kill, any that fledÂ… in an effort to keep knowledge of the raid from spreading right away.

I could increase the success rate of my unit substantially. Unknown to most people outside my immediate battalion, I am not only a seasoned soldier, I'm also an accomplished arch-mage able to unleash any spell tier while fully covered in steel and weilding a Tower shield. I can cover all members of my unit in a myriad of defensive spells and save a number of offensive spells as required, unleashing them while surrounded in the highest tier protections.

I could target the most dangerous of the raid locations due to this edge.

Julius listens from where he stands on the wall, not interrupting as the soldier speaks.

"Spells are always useful. You could cover the approaching striketeam with illusions or invisibility so they can strike a mostly unaware target?

This alone will have a certain impact on the suspects.

Your plan sounds good but I suggest to have a few hounds outside as well to help with tracking the fugitives.

Also on my last few raids against them I noticed that the Anarchists are overly fond of rooftops, hopping around like pigeons, lobbing down smoke or firebombs. A few well placed Grease spells or Caltrops might lead to interesting results."

Charae entered the room and noticed the gathering. "Ah, apologies for my tardiness. I was on assignment offworld. Might I find a seat?"

Mover Cass responds to the new arrivals "Take a seat and join the fun er conversation. Any of you mercykillers a Justicar? That way I'm sure you each will have a squad your responsible for and that is the squad we can use. We'll need a few of you guys to attach to each squad. And we will also need a intelligence gathering squad as well"

He then looks to Shamus and Cryptbane. "Perfect suggestion soldiers. How long will it take for you two to drum up the men?

He then address Caterina . "Your Factotum knows what I'm trying here, speak with him and no one else.

He then looks to the group "Questions?"

All the while, Measure Chari is writing down whats being said in minutes for official documentation.

Julius looks to the Mover, almost irritated that the planning session with Shamus is interrupted, shakes his head.

"I am currently holding the rank of Factotum and will coordinate my squad with the Harmonium soldiers... as said earlier."

Noticing the other Mercykiller he greets her with a nod, then returns to studying the map.

As everyone else enters Caterina takes the list of names and the minutes for the meeting.

"If you will excuse me I have the necessary preparations to make. Mover I will be in touch regarding the availability of a judge. With your leave I shall see myself out."

//As I have mentioned in another thread I am away for a week on holiday, but as Caterina isn't going to be involved personally in the raid this seemed like a convenient time for her to make herself absent.

Write ups on what she is doing here and here
