A Hunt For Ravens!

[*Midnight]

Emila chimes in brightly.

"Now that I do know the answer to. Ms Thurus of Mechanus Road."

She turns to the lady selling the birds.

"Will you still take a thousand jink for it?"

Vivana is dumbfounded for a moment, staring t the demon that still reels from the attack, tries to crawl away from the cage but the spell keeps it in place.

"I... I do not know. Is it worth less? Or more?"

Well, this answer shows the woman's state of mind well. She is scared, confused, embaressed and clearly out of her league. Lacking the lead of her mental control the construct folds up, slumping to the ground.

The Demon stays silent or is perhaps unable to answer, glaring at the man and the vampire.

The raven accepts the food- this one to greedy to share it with the cat and it slowly seems to trust Kiuna more.
It flutters up, tries to perch on the top of her staff, looking down at her.

Kiuna smiles up at it, wiping her watering eyes, and nods a little. "Yes... let's get out of here." She slowly, carefully, pulls herself up off the ground, and cautiously offers the bird her arm, as it will probably not like sitting on her staff when she starts walking.

Anacail grumbles behind her at the rude bird not sharing, but remains still.

"Oh? I have been wondering how she is related to the ravens. Can you share?" Verdant asks Emilia, before launching a forceful hand to, he hopes, send the kelvezu either to unconsciousness or at least for enough of a loop to enable him to better restrain it.

Verdant looks over the three with a raised eyebrow. The placid one gets extra attention given its reported origins.

While Emila chats with the woman Verdant sucessfully identifies the timid one as a Coure-the weakest form of Eladrin.

The one with that flaming wings and birdlike legs is an Asura- a powerful if sometimes agressive champion of chaos and good.

Now the last one proves to be somewhat difficult to see- resisting Verdan't divination for a bit longer- but then a small but somehow twisted humanoid form is revealed. The creature has rosy skin, its fingernails clawlike and glistening wet and there are small horns on its forehead. Verdant identifies the Kelvezu- one of the highly skilled demonic assassins.

It is not yet aware that its true form has been revealed, watching its surroundings carefully.

[*Kiuna]

Kiuna stops a little uncertainly at the sight of the man buying ravens. Then she sneaks along the walls with Anacail and herself between the raven at the people talking, heading upstairs, where she stays for a long while. Then she returns down and sneaks her way out, doing her best to be inconspicous.

((Sorry you don't get to react for this, but it sorta already happened in game v.v ))

Some time later she is seen searching around the Lady's Ward, and the raven is no longer with her.

While the two ladies chat. Verdant grumbles and rubs his temples. "Well, best get them out of your cage then," he says, casting a pair of grasping hands to catch the two Eladrin ravens, "Getting a bit low on spells," he mutters, before pulling out a scroll and sending another hand at the third raven.

Unfortunately for the disguised Kelvezu, hand that seizes it exerts a bit more force. The scroll was of Bigby's Crushing hand, and begins to squeeze as Verdant removes the other two from the cage and uses healing magics to see to any wounds they may have as he transfers them to another travel cage.

Meanwhile, found a Raven by the portal to Carceri. Grasping hand, True Seeing...

Emila watches with intrest as Verdant removes the birds.

"Something wrong with that one?"

She points to the one that he has bigbied.
