"Told 'em, aye. We know they are a an evil bunch but they have crossed a line now."
The other men nodding, mumbling- agreeing with him. Khari notices that they are tough but more brawlers than warriors. It is the way they hold their weapons, the way they move.
Dangerous they may be but they will be no match for the real thing.
Durwin stays back and it seems like he will try to avoid getting caught in a battle himself- despite him wielding some rusty cleaver now (wherever he might got it).

"Is all we could get.", Eman says with a small shrug and Khari feels he knows about the capabilities of his little warband.
"We know the streets, aye. And we can move around the Hive without raising any suspicions. Think we know where they hold his missus." Gestures towards Durwin but then looks at Khari again. "Perhaps we can free her, deal a blow and use what we find there to get better stuff? I promised them loot."
The others nodding approvingly at the prospect of said loot.

"It is an old well house that was fortified a few hundred years ago. Now it is a ruin but the well connects to undersigil so it is used as a hideout quite a lot. Anarchists, gangs.. now them. I think there will be around two to four guards, two scrubbers, perhaps up to four noncombatants."

Khari smiled sheepishly. She knew this was going to be a long day. "Then I want whoever is familiar with that place to draw as detailed as a map as possible. The rest of you are going to learn some basics in hunting and hand-to-hand."
The young ranger fished out a roll of thick parchment and charcoal, handing it out to the one who volunteered to make the map. "Walk by the location if you need another look. If you see anyone, don't provoke them. Run out of the Hive then make your way back here if they threaten you. No fighting unless your life depends on it."

It is Durwin who takes the parchment and he sits down to start drawing. It is a simple house, the well in the middle, an extra guardroom and a small storage room the only other features.
There is the door and a single window that allow access to this house- plus the well itself of course.
The others try to learn as much as they can - with mixed success but learning these skills takes time and a lot of practice.

Khari fit in whatever martial training she could within the small timeframe. Once they were ready, she drafted up the plan. They would strike during the busy hours for the soup kitchen, hoping to catch the hideout when its guards would be at a minimum. The ranger would lead in while three of the groups more skilled fighters would assist and two would keep watch. The rest would support as needed in clearing the area. If the group was satisfied with the plan, Khari would recommend they all get a little rest before the appointed hour.

They agree with the plan, tired from the training. Durwin brings some old cheese and a few loaves of bread and a jar of water, a meager meal but better than nothing.
After the rest they get ready again leading the ranger to the hideout.
The house is tucked into the end of an alley, only one bored berk sitting in front of the door using a knife to carve something into a piece of wood. The alley is not very frequented, most houses abandoned and rats scuttle over the debris, the stench of garbage and rotting flesh strong in the air, flees buzzing.
