Again Thist's spell overcomes the monster's defences the two bolts of force slamming into its body leaving a visible burn next to the shaft of the arrow that rests in its chest. It snarls in pain and swings the first blade of its double axe at Norman who manages to raise his shield up quickly and catch the blow. It then swings the other end of the axe up catching Norman in his exposed stomach. He feels searing hot pain as it cuts through his armour and warm blood drips from the wound there. The creatures pushes its mishapen face forward and leers at the priest as the blow connects.

Norman yelps, lowers his mace to push his opponent's weapon away, feeling the blood seeping into his gambecon. The prayer he mumbles comes almost naturally and he calls upon Pelor's power, converting a spell to close his wound.

Both of the arrows thud home one striking the monster in the chest and shoulder. The divine enchantment cast on the arrow heads cause them to cut through the creature's hide. The impact of the one on his shoulder causes it to stagger its blow saving poor Ben from being skewered. For now.
Meanwhile Norman manages to raise his shield and use it as a screen from which to cast his spell from behind, the warm healing energies stemming some of the blood flow.

Seeing his foes distraction Ben leaps clamping his jaws into the creatures arm he growls and hangs on but again it seems to fail to pierce its thick hide.
//It'll be easier to have order of initiative per encounter as that will eliminate the need for another round off ooc posts. Sorry if that was not clear. It is Thist's turn.
