Verdant points with the hand that is not holding the scrying device. "It's pointing that way," he says as he walks along, "but as you can see that's a wall. And as for planeshifting, I have a few tricks up my sleeve, yes. Getting back to the city without the portal may be difficult, but far from impossible."

"I can summon an earth elemental to help us along the way, you know as a guide. I bet it can tackle those walls though" She chuckles at the end and pulls out her spell book. She flips a few pages and looks to Verdant for an answer.

Verdant looks at Vara, "That's a good idea, though I imagine I'm going to hear some joke about asking for directions because of it," he says, chuckling ruefully.

Vara casts greater elemental binding a few times until she is greeted by her old earth elemental pal, as much as a mortal can, Stones... As she calls him.

"Ah, here he is! Stones! The best part is that he can tell us about danger and also open up holes in the wall." She looks to Verdant "Which direction?"

Verdant carefully moves from one side of himself to the other. He then points again to a nearby wall. "Well, it's that way, in a straight line. How far I'm not so sure."

"You heard the man Stones. Let's get moving. And open a hole in the dirt so we can get moving." The earth elemental promptly opens a passage wide enough for the three to pass through including himself.
