Whilest the addicts looted the corpse he winds a piece of half rotten fabric into a small skein ball forcing it into Udun's mouth before he riped off another cloth piece from a larger sheet with his teeth wrapping it around his head to hold the ball taut. Giving the man a soild kick in the back to keep him down before he fetched a rusty chain tieing his hands and feet together. Hauling him over the lifeless bodies till he reached a solid oaken beam it had fallen over and now rested with one end against the corner wall and the other had dug into the rubble on the floor. He secured the man by it so that his neck was completly fixed by the chain. Producing his dagger which blackened surface flashed once in the dim candle light. He feigned a cut by running it quickly with it's flatside against Udun's throat then cut the clothes of him and cast them aside. Searching for a insignia or some kind of belonging or tattoo that marked him a member of the putrid hand.

He turned to the addicts (If they hadn't just scurried away by now. If they left none of this below would be done.). "Well this 'll be our one justice in life. He has fed on us. Is it not right for us to feed on him?" He said it as it was the most natural thing. He acually belived that he had offered them the favour of their lives. Even if he could not give them justice he could give them a false poetic justice so many will die with less than that. They wasn't that much different than himself. Just more honest and direct in their distaste for life. Are we not all addicts of a drug? The need of satisfaction of emotions, ideals the very basic need of sustaining the body.. such a delicate line that seperated them. But the show had to move to the next stage he thought.

He crouched down looming over the calves of the bound man sinking his dagger into the nearest. Bending down to take the first bite after carving it enough to rip into it with his teeth.

(( Once again if you want to cut something out or alter it don't hessitate ))

The thick dust cloud forces her to close her eyes. She alight in a pile of grime and rubble from the collapsed wall feeling her footing slide away and founders forward. Clutching the long bladed sword thightly fearing it would fall away from her at a most disadvantageous situation. She hit ground with a metallic rustle from her armourscales. Her free hand dug into the grime and her other holding the sword was pushed with it's knuckles to the ground. Blinking intensly due to the dust she tried to get her bearing.

Ganatog stumbles back from the wall of ice, the chill currents wafting from it agony on his coal black skin. Steam pours forth from the giant as he invokes his Brazen Helm in counter, a burst of flame exploding around him and striving against the cold spell blocking the next room . The wood in the room around him now on fire, he turns back to face the demon. His axe empowered with the blessing of the Allfather, the Jotun charges to the attack, aiming to slam his longaxe down on the Alkilith with all his strength.

(( no worries. If something does not fit in I will say so))

The unconscious Udun is quite heavy and fixing him to thar post is no easy task- the addicts too busy to plunder the drugs than to watch what Mauric is doing.
They behave like starved dogs, fighting over scraps- each of them trying to grab as many vials and packages as possible.

Cutting away his clothes reveals old scars and the cuts and bruises he suffered during combat and there is the tattoo- located on his left upper arm, surrounded by a pattern of branding marks ((Lore to ID)). Of course he does not react to the touch of the blade at first but when Mauric cuts him and rips the flesh out he starts to scream.

The addicts just stare- it is not clear if they can follow Mauric's speech or are too lost in their own intoxication but they slowly come closer to join him in his grisly task.

***************************************************************

Just recovering from her fall she is blasted by chunks of ice and a wave of heat- but the violent explosion also removed most of the dust that obscured her vision- and close nearby she sees Ganatog engaging a formless, ooze like creature.

((spot plz))

***************************************************************

Ganatog rushes to meet the demon and his axe comes down on the strange creature- a good hit but it deals less gamage than it should- the soft body flowing around the blow, lessening its impact.

But the creature retreats now, flowing away, leaving a trail of dissolved matter. But it is not yet defeated as the dark ray proves that hits Ganatog into his chest- and a great wearniess and weakness spreads through his body as he feels some of his lifeforce ebb away.

((spot plz and SC if you want to ID what the critter hit Ganatog with))

Before he sunk his teeth into the man he attempted to removed the tattoo, possibly making some cuts in the skin and ruining the tattoo he removed as the man cringed. He would keep at it. Only a few bites would be enough to sate his hunger and he could not possibly fit more in his belly. Feeling his teeth grind against the bone, the feeding transformed into dismembering tearing chuncks of flesh from the mans tighs and spat it aside. The victim were very much alive still but would soon bleed to Death with half of his tighs and everything below torn away. The addicts had made good work on his arms being nearly completly stripped of flesh. Little remained but the bones and a few ripped snews attached to them. Mauric tried to wring lose Udun's right leg but had to carve with his dagger before he could get it free. He dipped it into the pool of hot blood and started writing on the wall with large sloppy letters -Beware dealers of decay for we shall feed on you as you have fed on us. Hive Hound's Revenge.- He looked unto the man in his death throes, convulsing violantly in the few parts of his body that still could. He tossed the limb away and approached the chained man again with his dagger pointed at him. He carved into his cheast Another message. -This is what awaits the putrid hand.- This was taking to long he thought a abrupt and defite ending to this show was due. He plunged the dagger deep into his solar plexus and slid it down ward until his bowles spilled out then made Another desisive thrust aimed for his naked heart. He wiped the dagger clean Before he sheathed it and hid it from sight within his tattered blood soaked shirt.

"Enough! We must leave an' fast." He said to the addicts with a stern determinded tone. He cut a few meters of a discarded fabric forgotten in the cellar the threads barely holding it together. "Here cover yerselves an' get away with yer spoil." Cutting some for himself and wrapped it around him to cover the blood. Wating until they scurried away eagerly he removed the candles. He fiddled with his dagger removing a nail from the handle it carried a rosette shaped head distictive but not unique. Placing it in the pool of blood, any future investigation would find it with little trouble. He invoked retributive invisibility and normal invisibility before he ascended the stairs. When reaching the corner outside he yelled with another of his false misleading voices. In distress he shouted while he thought himself well concealed in the dark narrow ally "Hounds! man-hounds! Barking mad an' stark naked! Run fer yer life!" Attempting to cause some panic and confusion if not immediate then for later when the bodies would be found.

He hurried away infused with haste to nearest entrence to undersigil, He made several detours just to confuse and lose any potetial stalker. Burning most of his disguises and hiding the away the dagger in a lose brick of a deteriorating wall.

He could have framed the addicts straight away guiding a mob of selfrighteous hivers to deal swift justice to them in the act. Or simply kill them to reduce the risk of getting caught himself. No the greater evil had to be served. There was a chance that this ordeal made them rise above their weakness and embrance the necessity of cruelty. Perhaps they would even mantle the roll he has given them as avengers spreading strife and violence and to claim themselves masters of it. It was his gift to them, a spark of darknesss and a seed of decay, an glimse at was at the other side of the door not as victims but as strong beinigs capable of altering their own existance rather than to follow what lot was give. Make of it what you will he thought. The outcome that they would simply be scared into a quiet calm life never occured to him once.

Donning the attire he had started with he left that place in utter darkness as the last embers of his bonfire died out. It was time to ice mister eyes, wondering if he would see him after he had reported back to the succubus or before. He walked the pitch black archways for hours.

The fire giant falls to his knees among the rubble, skidding to a stop short of the demon and gasping in exhaustion. Ganatog struggles to regain his feet against the spell's effect before the fiend can attack again, and in desperation decides to call in his trump card. He pulls out a scroll from his sidebag and invokes it, ready to endure any second attack the demon might give in the meantime and firing in return the scroll of Hypothermia.

Mauric identifies the marks as seals that bind the bearer to the Demon Lord Juiblex- this Thrall of the Faceless Lord might have been one of the highest ranked followers of the Lord of slime in Sigil.

However Maoric also finds a pattern within the patter- subtle and hidden well. Perhaps Udun's loyalities were not that simple as Mauric finds signs showing another allegience- this time to the Lady of Fungi: Zuggtmoy.

But he has not much time to study this signs, the crated addicts continuing their meal, ripping the body apart, not even stoping when Mauric mutilates and kills the man.

The warnings and false evident placed he makes his way out, the addicts scuttling away already, staying together, vanishing in the hive.

Yet his cries of alarm draw the attention of several hivers- some barring doors and windows while others ready their weapons. As he moves towards undersigil he also hears sharp commands- it looks like one of the rare Harmonium patrols arrived, attracted by the screams and congregation of Hivers.

Yet he does not think that anybody is following him and after a few long hours of walking he is sure noone is watching or tracking him down- for now.

***************************************************************

Maed sees movements to the right- something in the dark and watching a bit longer she recognizes the second tiefling hiding there, trying to sneak up on the giant, preparing some spell.

***************************************************************

Ganatog sees this new danger as well- the tirfling trying to get in position to fire off whatever spell it prepares.

The Demon was about to approach the Giant, extending a pseudopod but when the spell hits it it slows down, the surface of its goo like body frozen by a thin layer of rime, slowing it down.

Weary he drifted aimlessly through the endless catacombs until he was so fatigued he could have dropped down right there and slept. He forced a lid from a old forgotten sarcophagus and crept into it cuddling up in a corner with the skeletal remains. A uneasy sleep soon enclouded him.

He dreamt wandering into a black mist. No light could be distiguished only darker shadows growing darker and darker. Suddenly he was struck to the ground and distorted faces of Udun, the drake blood and the addicts loomed above him. As black dogs with faces half humaniod half hound some leering others snarled before they started to feast on him. He awoke only briefly as the hound-Udun was about to close his jaws over his throat. Opening his eyes he saw a skull looking with it's empty eyesockets at him and he knew it was a dream, falling asleep again. He was used to this but still it stirred a multitude of emotions in him. Is it that I am a human or that I am faulty? Was his last thought.

(If he was left alone for 8 hours) He arose after finishing his sleep making his ascent back up to the streets in the hive. What game was the succubus playing? Lackeys of the war for demonic supremacy playing him against their rivals as usual or was there more to this. What did this dual alligence mean? The obvious to conceal the true or was they both true or false. These two fierce enemies could they have formed a alliance for a singel purpose? But with abyssal powers one could never be sure of anything, perhaps the strife between them had always been a facade to mislead. He pondererd countless of possibilities as he strolled up and down the streets. His mask shielding a pensive face. Still determined to infiltrate the putrid hand after he had talked to mister Eyes. If the agent wouldn't seek him out he had to either go along with his plan without speaking to him first or simply visit the succubus directly. He listens to the words among the crowds but refrain from asking any questions to anyone.

She invoked a cacophonic burst aimed for the newly spotted advisary (auto-stilled). She wasted no time after unleasing the spell she rushed at the tiefer first rearing her blade then sank it to her right into a striking stance in level with her shoulders. Sprinting forth crushing the shards beneath her with a shrill crunch as her adamantine sabatons shattered them one after another.

With Mae intercepting the spellcaster, it fell to Ganatog to deal with the demon. The Jotun wills himself up and fowards, but finds his longaxe is no longer beside him. Buried under the rubble perhaps? But he has no time to look as the demon begins to recover from the freezing attack; Ganatog instead grabs a fallen wooden support beam and, hefting it like a javelin, hurls it toward the acidic monster.

Noone seeks Mauric out and the Watcher is remaining unseen, its mission perhaps finished?

But Mauric he hears the reactions to what he did- that the Hatmonium is investigating, that the Putrid Hand offers a high bounty, that some priest is organizing a crusade against the demons and wants to purge them from the Hive.

What is true and what are rumours is hard to say- information travels quickly in the Hive but changes even quicker.

***************************************************************

The spell hits the tiefling and mauls his flesh, his concentration broken, the spell lost. He falls onto a knee, drawing a long dagger as he prepares to face Maed, and he invokes a Shield spell, the disk of force moving to protect him from the incoming attack but......

***************************************************************

The improvised missile strikes true and shatters most of the demon's body, the acid eating away the wood even as the creature dissolves. A greenish mist is rising, filling the room, biting in the eyes, stinging in the lungs and Ganatog sees one of the wounded guards retching and coughing on the floor but quickly succumbing to the poisonous fumes.

And that one was not alone- most guards are spasming finding a choking, cruel death as this cloud slowly spreads....

...even engulfing Maed and her opponent, the Tiefling crying out in horror, trying to move out of the poisonous fumes.

(( FORT DC 17, please. Apply all boni/penalties/immunities the characters might have against poison. Ganatog is still Enervated and makes the save at -2 ))

Pleased with hearing the Putrid Hand had placed a bounty he pondered who to frame. It could be the entrance fee.The fact that mister Eyes remained absent worried him some. What hinders them from simply removing me if I walk back into their den? And more importantly how can I remove them in their own bastion. Of course they didn't want me to learn anything from this. They hired me for investigation but that might have been a false pretense, perhaps simple killing was my given task from the start. Well played. But the last piece haven't been placed yet.

He donned his breastplate underneath his tattered black robe. Fully prepared for a ambush as he walked to the Temple to seek the taskmaster.

She erroneously took the fumes for acid hearing the fretting liquid sizzle behind her. She was about to strike at the tiefling but stayed her hand instantly as the fumes enveloped her. Coughing wildly she attempted to cast Immunity from acid. -Draw nigh! She shouted with a hoarse but resolute voice as she mentaly perpared to ward him from the substance. During that brief time she lost focus of the tiefer leaving herself open to a attack. She raised her sword to swing it again set on defeating that opponent before dealing with the other creature.

((If identifying the fumes as poision she would immediatly try to cast Iron body.
With NS and GH her fort is 28 without 21. Rolled 19.))
