//Sorry have been very lazy
All or nothing it is and Dorian launches at his serpentine opponent with a flurry of blows. The strength lent to him by the powers that answer his call goes some way to overcoming the snake like demons scaly hide. Distracted by the charge of the towns Milita and the ruckus caused in the hordes ranks the Marlith turns hissing in surprise as the swinging bastard sword opens up several deep gashes along the creatures body. It turns to face him now and Dorian can see he has injured it. Fearing it will be overwhelmed the creature uses its blades to parry fighting defensively as with a hissing cry the creature reaches out to the abyss calling for help. Dorian smells the beast before he sees it and with a roaring a large fur covered Herozu bursts onto the plane trying to interpose itself between Dorian and his wounded foe.

As the sky seems to fall around Hasclaan he manages to duck back into the portal he has just come through and he is mostly shielded from the the rain of falling rocks from the sky the enchantments he has in place shield him from the heat and although he is clipped by one of the rocks he is only winded as opposed to being crushed. The Celestial he summons is not so lucky and it disappears under a cascade of falling molten rock. The fiend howls in triumph and seemingly no longer willing to play games advances towards the necromancer.

Seeing the Fiend is not willing to play any games and realizing his ally is gone already he reaches deep into his mind and his fingers form the siggns while his voice once again swells into a dealy wail.

"Hezrou? Bah! Killed enough of these in my time, but enough is enough!"
He targets the Hezrou with a Dismissal spell.... and curiously wonders, would it work on those who came here unsummoned? Or were they here thanks to a summon? The Marlith is presumably in range... would it work? Would it also be affected?
Not that it mattered much... he only had one such spell prepared, but if it did... .then maybe the clerics among the defenders should be praying like its their last day (which it may very well be) for their deities to grant such power.

The Hezrou lunges at Dorian and one of its fists slam into is enlarged head as he casts the spell. He feels his ears ring, and a tooth comes lose as he tastes blood in his mouth many of the wounds closed with his regeneration spell reopened. The demon snarls raising a hand for a second blow to finish its victim off there and then but as its hand falls a look of puzzlement crosses its rage filled expression as the spell takes effect and the monster is returned to the abyss.
The Marlith is gone to but only after uttering a spell of its own, a teleport away from the whirling barrier of blades.

The ear splitting scream washes over the garden and the advancing winged fiend finches stopping in its tracks, then as the noise recedes and it realizes it is still there and very much alive it grins launching at Hasclaan in a savage fury of teeth wings and claws. Its gnashing fangs lunge close and he can smell the creatures rancid breath, it is only good fortune that makes it strike his displaced image and not his real throat the buffet of its wings is deflected the same way but just as he is recovering from ducking and dodging these attacks he feels the wrack of its claws down his chest cutting through the tone spell he wards himself with and only narrowly avoiding disemboweling him where he stands.

Dorian takes the moment to look around and evaluate the situation on the battlefield and behind him on the walls.

Hasclaan lets himself being pushed back by the force of the blow, cursing.
As he feels the blood wetten hit suit he is already calculating, planning. He is aware that his protections will not hold much longer and the fact that this creature resisted his most powerful spell without any protections.
But he is here to find and free the Chalice, not to wrestle a bouncer. So he does not even try another attack but instead he reaches for one of his more humble spells and he is whispering the words, the gesture ending in the necromancer aiming a pale green ray at the Devil.

As Dorian surveys the scene he sees that the walls are holding. The defenders are out numbered but they are organized trained disciplined and fighting for their homes. The sally grom the gates, which Dorian would realize have now shut behind him has thrown their foes into disarry. The demons still number in the tens of thousands though and whilst the defence stands now the hoard could keep their assualt up for days where as the defenders will tire. Histrain of thought is disrupted as a line of blades not unlike the ones he surronds himself with burst through the floor. He has enough time to move out of the way and avoid the worst of it but one pierces his sides just benath his ribs and the joints in his armour.

The fiend hesitates as it is struck with the ray. Its very close call with Hasclaan's death magic has taught it to be weary. It lasts releived as the spell seems to fail. Then slamming a wing into the necromancer it buffets him to the ground and it stands over his wounded form leering a gron at him. Hasclaan gets the impression it could probably finish him now but it would rather draw this out, rather play with him first.

Dorian grimmaces in pain as he is hit.
"Ive done what i can for now" he thinks.
He tries for another blast of divine power that will bring more demons under his control and then will attempt to flee back to the gate, hoping that it will be opened for him.

Hasclaan looks up to the fiend, wincing in pain but a smile on his lips even as he spits out a glob of saliva and blood.
He targets a place behind the fiend- just somewhere deeper in the room and while he is aware that a blind teleportation like this might cause if it goes wrong he also knows he has to take this risk.
So he chooses the weakest of his teleportation spells and with a single word he vanishes...
...to appear somewhere else.
