Of course Hasclaan looks like he should be here and were it not for a stroke of misfortune his ruse would work perfectly. He approaches a tiefling from behind and as the man turns Hasclaan would recognize him. The tiefling who announced him earlier.

His tone is polite but assertive

"Of course." He lowers his voice.

"But as you see...", he glances into the direction of the ballroom " I do not want to be back in there either. It is embaressing and harmful for my reputation. Perhaps there is a way for me to descreetly fade away and wait somewhere meet my darling after he... sobered up a bit?"

-So you still plan to march up there in plain sight regardless of the fact that they just attacked us? Better to support them without letting them know it. One of us should return with the price although or atl east hide him somewhere relatively safe.

As Dorian gazes up the chasm he would be able to roughly work out a way to climb up using broken rocks and bits of rubble as foot and hand holds. It will be difficult in his armour but on the other hand the fall is probably not enough to seriously hurt him and the regenerative enchantments on his armour and shield have already began to close his wounds.

Mauric would feel similarly rejuvenated the bbatezu's metabloism quickly healing the wounds as he looks around he would not see Ayase anywhere, but he would see the gate she has opned and as it only goes as far as the near ethereal he would hear someone shout from that general direction.

"I suppose i can understand that. There is a room through the back ou can wait in if you like and if you change your mind there is an exit from the tower there should you prefer to just slip away."

Hasclaan follows the tiefling to this room, trying to find out the best route to his target now that the first has failed.

He keeps his eyes open for corridors or tunnels leading in the direction he has to go- of course prefering the less frequented ones.
