The glistening spire atop the Hall of Speakers symbolized the glory of the individual, a cornerstone of the Sign of One's philosophy. A massive statue before the building underscored the point: it depicted a woman holding an entire world. Native Sigilians knew that within the walls of the stately edifice, factols and plebians engaged in lengthy, detailed discussions about the precepts, statues, and decrees affecting all Cagers.

As they approached the outside of the large structure, Loona and Herbert could make out dozens of similarly-dressed individuals soliciting various passers-by. One of these individuals - a young human woman approached the duo. She sported flowing white robes that were slung over one-shoulder and reached down to her feet. The torso of her robe featured a large circular emblem depicting a serpent's side-profile - the insignia of the Sign of One. She carried an elegant quill pen and a flip-notepad made of semi-decent quality parchment. Her blonde-flowing locks were easily slung to the left side of her forehead, somewhat resembling the way her robes over her left shoulder. Her smile was warm, her gaze inviting, and her tone dripping with unmistakable eagerness:

"You bloods look like you could use a scribe. 2 jink per half-hour for your thoughts written down!"

The woman's aquiline nose crinkles in slight confusion.

"Aye, Gina works here, I know her. Wait... ye mean to tell me she's quitting?"

The young human appears understandably taken-aback as an abrupt gasp escapes her lips, her eyes widen, and she brings a hand to her mouth. After a brief moment of skepticism, she takes Herbert's word for it. There is a certain hint of realization in her facial expression for the briefest of moments but she soons regains composure. After a weighty silence, she motions for the duo to follow her.

"Let's speak in private"

((I think a conversation like this would best be continued in game. I'll try to catch you guys on - just let me know what times you'd be available to play. I'll be on tonight - Eastern Standard time (GMT -5) at say... 6pm))

//8GMT is too early for me today, unfortunately.

Saturday perhaps at that time, or 7 or 8pm-ish EST today.

((Yep!))

The following is a message found in Nzadra's corpse recovered after Brogar and Albert murdered her.

Nzadra,

I cannot begin to tell you how important it is that you transport the modron with care. Apparently it's been involved in some drama in the Hive but the Captain managed to acquire it for a hefty price from the resistance members previously utilizing its services.

The applications for the creature on an astral ship are staggering. It has the ability to locate just about any portal - and will serve as a huge boon in navigation for the Flotilla.

Of course, you have to reach here first. The captain has offered the services of his lieutenant: Hzzargh the Storm Giant. He is death-on-legs  (almost as good as the Captain himself) and should keep any pirates off your back. You may wish to hire extra protection just because this is such a delicate delivery- but I think Hzzargh should be enough.

See you soon,

First Mate Helkanelth
