"Will do." Zaed states as he examines the samples she had brought. ""This is good work, but what I am interested in is the more experimental. And as stated, that will be more or less where our focus as a company will be. To uncover and discover, without interference from those who would restrict or ban such work. I would assume that at the lower-ward lab, you would not have had free reign over your projects, Especially since it is more of a public use facility. Instead, you would be given your own private lab to furnish and set up as you see fit. You can work on whatever catches your fancy. The only thing you would have to do for the company is to work on contracts assigned to you. These could range from crafting requests to assistance in investigations of a nature related to your field of expertise."

(Your spot check from previously will carry over for this)
Nanae would notice out of her periphery that the shadows on the blade flickered to life more intensely, forming an aura around the blade when she started accusing him of insinuations. Zaed would have remained calm and such physically.

"Indeed, I understand that is is more or less theory, and credit is due to where it is due. As for your lab, I will give you directions and such once our headquarters is finished being constructed. In the meantime, feel free to make use of my property in the hive ward. You will have to bring your materials and equipment however."

Zaed hands over a key and jots down some directions to his old house. "It is in such a location because one who seeks privacy needs the structure to blend in. There is a second basement. Just search around for an illusory brick, put your hand through and pull the lever."

He prepared to leave after gathering his belongings. "Oh, and before I forget. If you know of any chronomancers, I would be interested in names."

She raises a brow at the odd request, listening closely to the directions. "I'll keep zhat in mind. I do not recall any chronomancerz, however. Zhank yu vor yur time and zhe lab." She rises and offers her hand for him to shake. It would be cool to the touch, like marble.

He would shake firmly. The feel of cool skin brought back some memories, albeit buried ones, of Alista. However, he just reburied them for the time being.

After their meeting he would make his way back to the guvners office to check on the status of his request.

Surveyors could be seen plotting out a rather large construction area in the lower ward. By the weeks end, construction would likely be underway.

A little kitten with a note attached to its collar would make its way to Zaed and meows, apparently wanting him to take the note.

Zaed would gently take the note and read it over.

The letter written in Common is in a rather flowery, yet wild script, befitting the age and maturity level of the young sorceress that wrote it. Zaed will probably note that the language is slightly stilted.

"Mr. Nahalis:

I am potentially interested in your venture, and would like to speak with you in more detail. I would like to meet you and show you some of my work and research.

I have attached some directions in this letter to an area in the Festhall where I have some modest facilities where my work is being stored.

- Licca Lyricia"

Zaed would knock on a nearby surface to get her attention.

"I have received the note. Now let us get to business."

Licca looks up, smiles, and pulls a batch of bread from the oven, and sets them on the counter to cool. Zaed will probably note the Sensate badge on Licca's choker.

"Welcome to my home in the Civic Festhall, Mr. Nahalis. If you'll step this way."

Licca motions to a door in the far side of the workshop and the bakery.

/// A spot check for what's in the workshop and the bakery is not needed as all her jewelry making tools, Licca's sewing equipment and her sewing kit, small alchemy workbench with various bubbling vials, and all her bakery equipment are in plain view.

Licca's office, which is past the door at the far side of the workshop, is a small office with bookshelves full of tomes on history, alchemy, and magical enchantments. There are stacks of notebooks of varying condition on a desk, in a language that Zaed would not recognize. There are comfortable chairs arranged throughout the room, and a small cot for when Licca is here late doing faction work and doesn't feel safe walking back to her rooms at the inn when it is dark outside.
