((Midnight - shouldn't ayase also be in range of Dorian's spell, based off your last post on the topic?))

Dorian smiles as they shift into the Ethereal. Now for the coup de grace.

He takes note of their position through the ethereal veil of the border ethereal.

"Lots of walls and earth around here...."

He grips his sword, its insubstantiality feeling strangely surreal in this place, and moves to defend Mauric.

He speaks to the bleeding Mauric: "You want him dead? Look beyond him, look at the prime beyond. Bury your enemy."

*Dorian will do his best while attacking (hopefully with the help of Mauric) to maneuver Ramal out of the border ethereal tunnel into the walls. The instant (if) this happens, he will use his innate Ethereal Purge ability to drop everyone back to the prime. Neatly trapping Ramal in the walls/earth underneath the temple... possibly killing Ramal.*

The Tiefling finishes the sentence as he is expected to.

Agrippa, you are catious. That means they have chosen wisely.

Mauric lunges a stab with his blade aiming at one of the two Ramal's left he has an equal chance of hitting the real one or the illusionary decoy and is rewarded with the feel of resistance against the tip of his blade suggesting not only has he hit his mark but he has struck true. The blow pierces his opponents throat and what combat experience Muaric has tells him that that blow is a kill. His opponents throat cut, except it is not. There is blood and torn flesh but nowhere near the damage there should be. He doesn't have long to ponder this though Dorians spells takes affect and both he Ramal and Ayase are shifted onto the Ethereal. Both Doomguard having being shifted to the ethereal the battle continues and Ramal lunges at Mauric again letting out another shrieking scream at the burning hellfire shield this time his blow strikes Mauric solidly in the chest narrowly missing the warlock's heart. Mauric feels searing pain and his clothes run wet with flesh flowing blood.

Hasclaan listens, his mind calculating his chances, the best way to proceed, how to both succeed and survive.

He might be less impressed by the surroundings than his host might have expected but he clearly gets the message- but for now he pushes back all unecessary questions and thoughts that form in his mind, focusing on his task.

Even the mentioned disguise as the man's paramour does not startle him at all- not does he seem uncomfortable. He will do what he must- pragmatic as always.

"How will I get out again? Can I take the same way or will I have to find a way on my own?
Also I fear this robes of mine carry multiple enchantments both to protect me and to focus my mind. Without them this mission will be a lot harder. Do you have something fitting to replace them?
Ah.. and I will also need space for scrolls and a staff or two. What weapons am I allowed to bring?"

As the greatsword digged into him he recoiled clenching his teeth with an pained growl. He stooped forward as the large blade was pulled out of his pierced breastplate and more importantly his ribcage. Baring a huge gash followed by a stream of blood almost immediatly, he could feel the sticky and warm substance wet his whole left leg and quickly filling his boot. Then came the nullifying pain. Nearly falling prone on the ground by the force, but with a quick adjustment of his right foot regained balance. He gripped the rapier with both hands. He had to keep the point up, he needed to advance. He made an cross step foward then sprung into another lunge relying on his left leg to carry his wieght trying to make a perfect landing with his right heel hitting the ground first then rolling the rest of his sole down to stop the gliding with a thrust aimed once more for the throat. The intent was to drive Ramal back by making him retreat by alot in one move towards the end of the ethereal wall. reckless no doubt in his state.

The two doomguards would soon realize their opponents skill with a blade is greater than either of theirs individually, together however they seem to push him back causing him to block and parry more than he swings and thrusts with greatsword. It may be the ringing sensation in their ears or the sapping nature of the song but it is rare they land a blow though and the times that they do it does not seem to do the damage that it should almost as if their opponent does not feel the pain. It would seem that the burning hellfire from Mauric's shield does have an effect though. Very slowly, inch by agonizing inch they push him back towards the wall.

"You will need to know that what you are after is in the Iron tower."

He doesn't point out where this is but Has would assume it is the towering iron structure that dominates his vision no matter where he looks.

"Normally no one gets in or out, but tonight is the anniversary of the signing of the pact primeval. To celebrate Dispitar holds a ball, as one of hells luminaries I of course have a ticket."

Now that are bad news. The Iron Tower is well guarded its master's paranoia known throughout the planes. On the other hand it makes sense- and this event might be exactly the cover he needs. Too bad the he cannot invite....

He pushes back unneeded thoughts again, concentrating on his task.

"This ticket will get us in? Do you know the whereabouts of the target and do you have perhaps some maps of the stucture I can use to prepare myself?"

Seeing they are slowing gaining ground Dorian takes a gamble to finish this quickly before Ramal figures out what is going on.

He sacrifices his defense risking a nasty hit from the superior swordsman and pushes forward with his shield into Ramal, so that Ramal is either forced to take a step back to keep his balance and guard or risk being pushed by the shield and losing his own ability to defend.

((Not sure which side of me Mauric is on so not sure whether pushing towards Ramal from his on-hand or off-hand side))
