"A drink would be welcome thank you. It is a great relif not to have to go through all the pretences. Since I am here there are a number of cold iron wrapons I can sell your soolders to help with the local threats, but I think we both know that is not the main purpose of my visit.
My faction has been alertrd to a number of lesser undead that appear to have become awakened here. Not just awakened but almost universally hostile even in the face of the death truce. To say we were concerned would be to engage in emotion that is contrary to our ultimate goa.but we woild like to know what is going on."

Charles negotiations go well, he will find the locals to be open and fair. They know well where they are and that they need the imported goods and they have the ressources to pay for it. They are digging for a rare kind of stone in the quarry- its magical properties making it popular with some people on the prime.
((Give me WIS, CHA and INT checks for Charles please. Also if he has the following skills it might help: Appraise, Diplomacy, Craft(any)
Same for Vara if she likes to sell her goods here.))
The woman serves Emila a small cup of blood, some magic keeping it warm and preventing its coagulation.
"There is a time for playing games but a direct approach can be refreshing. Your supplies are welcome and we will buy the weapons to equip travellers."
She fills a cup of her own with some light, red wine.
"I heard rumours. "
Sitting down she sips pauses to gather her thoughts before going on.
"One of our knights faces two creatures which he first thought to be zombies. Yet one of them was a spellcaster and the other one knew how to use his blades well.
According to his report they were fighting more like experienced mortal warriors and not like mindless undead. One of the was even boasting about the fact that even the Death Truce will not protect us mortals anymore."

The deal made between Charles and the locals is quite favourable for both sides the Consortium getting about 15% profit from their investments and long term contract. Charles could raise the margin to 20% but this would mean a short term agreement and less favourable conditions at the next time.
They also agree to deliver a shipment of the Bloodrock that they are mining here- a stone known for its necromantic energies that always try to pull out the life force of a living creature standing on or surrounded by it. It is popular for tiling Arena floors or some defensive structures as attacks made against creatures standing on it have a good chance to cause grevious injuries.

The woman nods and if she saw Emila's struggle she does not comment it, calmly sipping from her cup before answering.
"Of course. Sir Dorian Lavess is on guard duty right now but I will have him summoned."
She gets up and leaves- Emila being alone for a few minutes before a knight in dark grey armour enters- the colour almost matching the sands and ground f the layer, the only spot of colour is the small flamind skull enameled on the breastplate. A sword sits on his left hip, on his back he carries a shield, a dagger is sheated in each boot.
He takes off his helmet, his long dark hair is held back by a leather strap studded with silver his pale green eyes betraying both intelligence and a strong will but a jagged scar from his left brow down to his jaw mars his otherwise handsome face.
"Dorian Lavess. I was told you want to talk to me about this... incident with the purple eyed undead?"
He sits down on a sturdy wooden bench near the door, pulls his gauntlets off and folds his hands, waiting for her answer.

Charles would be satisfied with the 15% return. Although his business was born through the actions of the Cartel and the Syndicate, he was still a legitimate businessman. Long term business relationships were always beneficial. Once the deal was completed, he would thank those he dealt with and change back into his travelling clothes. A few drinks with the locals in the local watering tent and then he would return to the caravan.
