Stopping The Addiction

It is a chute leading to Undersigil it seems. Khari's darkvision is not strong enough to find the end but she hears the sound of some water flowing.
Perhaps it was used to wash down the blood and other remains of combat- the walls are slick and covered with moss and slimes.

It seems they tried to widen it as a escape route? Or did they just use it to get rid of something?

Khari called upon her innate powers and imbued a small rock with a light spell. She dropped the glowing stone down the chute, hoping to see what was at the bottom.

The stone tumbled down the shaft, the light it sheds reflected by the moist walls and after about 50 feet it hits the surface of some greenish water.

Khari looked closely as the stone tumbled down the chute. (spot 11+32=43)

There are handholds in the wall- or were as they are now overgrown with moss. And there are bones in the water below- and something snakelike moving in it.

Khari noticed the snake-like creature and shuddered. Druid, ranger, or not, she had no interest in seeing what manner of creature was down there.

"Time to go." Khari made her way out of the pit and snuck back to the hideout.

And it was just in time, her lungs slowly aching and talking to herself did not exactly help.

The light outside seems intense now and Khari hears the heavy footsteps od armoured boots. Looks like the Hardheads will arrive, soon.

Khari took in a relieved breath once she was out of the smoking building, though the Hive air was hardly much better for her. The young woman slipped into the shadows and went to their hideout in the Slags.

She is the first to arrive at the hideout- none of her Horde has returned yet. It takes almost an hour before they arrive, Eman wearing fresh bandages around his wounded shoulder.

"The Hand is gone. We have to thank you."

"We meet you at out hideout."

Eman leads his remaining companions away, the native Hivers quickly out of sight in the crooked, narrow alleys.

When Khari enters the house she still smells the smoke and it is worse the deeper she goes, stininging in her eyes and lungs. Making her way down the stairs Khari enters a large room with a fighting pit which is surrounded by benches in the middle and a bar on the far side of the room.

It seems some of the benches have been used to bar the door, they are now scattered around the floor.
