also, normally i wouldn't turn down a chance of killing things, but i was assigned with a task, and for as un-entropic as it may sounds, if it is to further our influence within the cage, i can cope with it. you too did see the dwarf who left yanek's office with a letter, no? she was admitted straight away in pentar's office, without having to wait for her turn.

ah, the hieronites are awaiting to know if we'll be a menace to their defense against the demons or not. ''

Ayase would know that one of the more powerful dispels such as greater dispel magic or Varacious dispelling would dispel a dimensiomal lock cast by all but the most gifted spell casters, and common sense would suggest that if the Heronites have covered the entire city they can't all be cast by the most acomplished casters, there just isn't enough of them.

As Mauric leaves Ramal follows him.
"Good, when we are done with the demons i suggest we kill it before we return to the cage. I didn't like what it tried to say in my mind."
Soon the two of them hear voices from down the corridor
"Ah, the Heironites are awaiting to know if we'll be a menace to their defense against the demons or not."
They would recognize the voice as belonging to Ayase. It is the usually quiet Ramal that speaks this time.
"There is a slaughter about to fall here, and I would not feel right if we were not a part of it. I don't care who we fight for, but we should fight."
*************************************************************************
Meanwhile in the commander continues assuming Hasclaan's knowledge of what he speaks of.
"The chalice was stolen by Hextor and fearing our lords wrath should he hold onto it himself he gave it Dispitar. This order was founded and this temple built on Heironeous own command to find and locate the chalice. The fiend beneath it is the one who accepted it from Hextor. Using what information we could extract from it and other sources, we have located the chalice, we could not slay the fiend and return it to Baator for fear it would warn its master.
We were so close but as we stood upon the verge of what we were after the forces of Iuz attacked. It cannot be a coincidence."

Hearing the approaching voices of Ramal and Mauric Dorian says: "Ah, and it appears our fellows are done with their business. There, you see Ayase, nothing to worry about. Now, how about we get involved in this little war... one one side or the other.
For my part, I will stand with the defenders, there will entropy enough this day, no need to let the demons claim this prime if we can avoid it. If things start to look grim, we can flee and slip into the Ethereal or other plane once clear of any magical suppression.
Come, i think you will find this interesting."

at this point ayase merely waits for the other two to arrive and hear what they want to do, still sort of perplexed
''we're ending up helping hieronites and a guvner...'' shakes head, then looks again at dorian
''what about the fiend imprisoned here then? ''
((this will be my last post until tomorrow, as i'll be away))

*Mauric leaned his long rapier against his shoulder bouncing it playfully as he walked towards the second pair of Doomguard talking to Ramal*
- Oh given the chance let's see to it that it is properly rewarded. I imagen the Tanar'ri could have their fun with it after they take the city. If not we'll just have to pay a final visit before we leave ensuring its long wake for oblivion become a little more entertaining than it is now.
And the brother and sisterhood are once more complete.*His Eyes sets on the hin as she walks closer* You are back. Did you discover the agenda of the guvner? *Errenously he had assumed she had followed him shortly after they had seen him the last time*

Dorian responds to Ayase: "Screw the fiend. The inhabitants of the lower planes are not the only source of entropy you know. I would fight on the side of angels for preference, and you know why? Because if those stuck-up idiots in Celestia got their way, the slow, long, tedious slide into final entropy would not only be assured, but also exquisite."
