Loona, having already lost interest flutters off looking for a conveniently open window to enter, not bothering to consult or inform anyone of her doing so, driven on by curiosity and the everlasting pursuit of trouble to weasel into.

Herbert, realizing he probably won't fit into the house spebds his time on the roof looking at the body, how it fell and thinking of scenerios where it could have landed in the possition that it did.

Also would try to figure out where on the dead lady the ripped piece of cloth came from to figure out how she would have been standing on the roof.

The officers on the roof seem to notice the tiefling in the window for the first time - a potential witness ...or perhaps more.

One officer goes to the other building to investigate.

5 more minutes have passed, leaving 15 more until the group's passes expire.

Herbert tries to get Losa or Daniel's attention to get them to go over and "help" the harmonium with the interview.

Realizing things could either get very interesting or very not, Losa decided to follow the Harmonium to this particular tiefling interview.

The Harmoniun knocked on the main-door on the dwelling across the street and the dark-haired tiefling woman that Herbert saw moments earlier emerged. An unsettled look crossed her features, and she was a stutterer. Nonetheless, she was quite cooperative with the Harmonium Investigators who peppered her with questions.

It took a good 15 minutes, but the group managed to gather a lot of information regarding circumstances from the tiefling witness in conjunction with Harmonium questioning.

Name: Lykzathra Venfriti (nickname: Lykza)

Occupation: Seamstress, Resident (lives with Husband)

What she witnessed:

She was sitting in her room, tending to some clothes when a blood-curdling shriek awoke her from the tedium of her daily activities. She rushed to the window to catch a skeg of what was going on, and there she saw Gina Velorian – a neighbor of hers-  on the roof frantically trying to flee. She was unable to make out any other figures on the roof but Gina seemed extremely frightened and agitated. Her movements were described as shaking and glancing about about in a terrified fashion - as if someone was about to jump out at her any second. Gina was on the roof for about 20 seconds (at least since Lykza was observing through the window), then she seemed to lose her balance near the ledge and fall to her death.

After hearing her account, the Harmonium officers requested that she come to the Barracks for further questioning and she complied. Lykza began to gather a few personal effects from her apartment. Meanwhile, Herbert and Loona had an opportunity to question the tiefling, up to 2 questions. The Harmonium werenÂ’t in any rush to kick out the group as they had been relatively cordial during their independent investigation.

Herbert shifts into his signature gorilla stance, after a few moments of thought he asks: Wwaass sshhee aaccttinngg ooddd tthhee llaasstt ffeeww ddaayyss?

After hearing the reply to that quest he asks: ddooeess sshhee hhaavvee annyy oottheerr ffaammiillyy tthhatt lliivveed wwiitthh hheerr oorr tthhaatt wwaass cclooossee ttoo heerr?

Waiting for the woman to answer Herbert's questions, Loona asks, sitting atop his head...

"Did you see any suspicious types about? Y'know, cloaks and pointy knives'n such, or really anyone who seemed strange, but not in the "We live in a planar nexus" sort of way!"

Giving the witness a time to respond, immediately Loona asks...

"Do you know if she had any enemies? Or anyone who wasn't especially fond of her? I mean... I never have that problem, but I understand some berks do."

The questions were all answered in the negative, as Lykza didn't know Gina very well and hadn't seen her recently. They saw each other in passing every month or so and briefly exchanged pleasantries. She did know that Gina was a member of the Sign of One and worked at the Hall of Speakers as an assistant. They didn't interact with each other nearly often enough to know each others' friends and/or enemies.


Notably Lykza did not see anyone else outside as she watched Gina fall to her untimely death.


With that, the Harmonium escort the tiefling away to the Barracks for further questioning. As for the group -they can report to Factor Ziporath at his Inn Room in the Bazaar, or further investigate by heading to the Hall of Speakers or perhaps some other place of possible interest.
