Weaknesses: His lycanthropy is only partially under control, and it tends to interrupt his studies. He suffers from all the usual wolf-like "personality" issues: aggression, territorial, mistrust, and so forth.
Background
Malcolm contracted lycanthropy as a young adult while hunting. Subsequently ostracized and threatened with death, he fled to the Cold Woods. He lived there for a few years, finding shelter in a cave and making it as comfortable as he could.
During a sudden blizzard, a band of Uthgardt exiles took refuge from the storm in his cave. Finding the werewolf Malcolm inside, the Uthgardts drove him at axe-and-blade-point from his cave while trying to slaughter him, one staying behind to burn his belongings they found in the cave. Panicked and without a plan, Malcolm did the only thing he could think of - he opened a portal and ran through it.
Ending up in Sigil was an accident, though a good one considering all the other places he could have ended up while running away.

He was too busy thinking about whatever topic of magic that has his interest at the moment. Smooth as Sandpaper He is not the most suave individual in social situations. He might be abrupt, inattentive, or just plain rude without realizing it. Can't Stand Idiots He can't stand anyone with a low intellect - true or perceived. Impatient Malcolm dislikes wasting energy or spending unnecessary time before making decisions or acting. Even if he's not eating it either, its still his. Forever. Conflicted about Lycanthropy He's still working on getting his own affliction under control and doesn't know what to think about others in the same position. Prior to coming to Sigil, he never met another were-creature beyond the one that infected him. Loves the Forest and Snow Growing up in Coldwood, Malcolm learned to love the winter and forests. Sweet Tooth Chocolate, cookies, cake - he loves it all.
