I walk in the light but darkness surrounds me;
Mighty are the foes of my people;
I am their shield;
My blood for their blood,
My life for their life;
My sword and I are one;
We will serve our people and The Elven Way.
I have sworn this Oath upon my life;
This day and forever, I name myself Shadoweir.
This was the oath i took long ago and one i live by.
So, why do i make Sigil my base of operations? I do not truly know. I came here tracking down a tribe of goblins that had despoiled the forest I watched over. The came hunting a unicorn and set fire to large swathes of land. I tracked them to Under Sigil where I found their lair.
Strangely enough, Meilikki must have placed in my heart a desire to stay here. Maybe there is a plan, i cannot know. There are no trees to guard, no forest to tend to.
However, an inkling of an idea exists. From here, i can watch over many forests. The great forests of the Beastlands are quickly accessible and the Outlands are also close with many regions with trees. I have discovered a portal to Elysium, and from there a quick ride to Arvandor.
Maybe my future life is that of a Planar Ranger, once who stands ready to guard the plants and animals across all realms.
Time will tell.

Today i sprinkled seeds of ther Wier upon the streets of Sigil. I highly doubt anything will grow, or even should a shoot take hold, it will be trodden down or be killed by the razorvine.
I find myself wondering, what Sigil must have looked like millenia ago, before beings came to dwell here. Such a wonderous... plane, device, object. Nobody can say for sure what it is, or why it exists. However, i am sure before people came, and placed their buildings and roads, there must have been something natural here, maybe even proper nature.
Did the Lady come here after it was created? Was she a product of its creation? Or did she cause it to be created? These questions I cannot answer.
Other questions i find myself asking, why does the Lady need people to live here anyway? From what I have come to understand, she only cares about the portals and he own security and that of the torus. She cares not for those who dwell within.
Would it be an issue for her if all the people were to leave? What if this city of smog and rain and mud could be transformed into a wonderous park, a great forest even, without the despoilation and depravation of civilization? A wonderous garden where those from all over the multiverse can come and live as one with nature.
I must give this more thought. Would it be possible? Would it invoke the ire of Her Serenity? Who could assist with this? The only power group I suspect that may go along with this would be the Anarchists, and yet, their goals and morality are highly questionable... but maybe within their non-ranks, i could find allies. After all, an open natural forest has no need of structured society.
I also need a place to start. Some small area where i can start to beautify and naturalize the territory. A place i can show as an area of natural beauty. Near the portal to Brux could be a good start. A small plot of land will do.
I will make inquiries.
