Withdrawn At times the man seems withdrawn, as though other things occupy his mind.

At times he exhibits a strange sort of kindness... though he often grimaces or glares at others, he is not a man who will leave someone in the street to die. He will even try to go out of his way to see that others are unharmed or properly treated if possible.

Hooded, Shardek slowly made his way into the run down in... a shabby place similar to many of the various inns and homes in this part of Sigil. He took his time getting to the innkeeper.... occasionally stopping and having a chat with the locals, if you could call them that. People from all over the planes came to Sigil, so it was not uncommon to run into different races, beings, or entities.

After a paticularly perplexing conversation with a rogue modron, he finally found himself in front of the enormous Orc who must have been overseeing the inn this night. He bought an inn key and pitcher of ale... and headed up, appearing to most to be no more then your average drunkard heading up for their last drink and to turn in.

Heading down the hall he counted off rooms slowly, "Three, four, six..." until he came to rest at room eight. He glanced around, pocketing the key that read 17 and set to work slowly unlocking the door, using little more then a few words and a flick of his fingers. He gently opened the door and closed it.... locking it in a similar fashion and then barring it.

"Well now... where are you..." He scanned the room slowly, it was little more then a bed with a small table to set your things while you slept... the perfect place for to sleep, among other things. The bed was what interested him though.... the sparse blankets were wrapped around something, the very something he had come here to deal with.

Pulling back his hood he made his way to the bundle, flipping it open.... it was the same as the other, a mans body... no discernible wounds save for several small markings on the mans foot.

"Well then, we have a shared interest now brother," he muttered as he set to work with the body. Rolling the body over onto the floor.... he set to work setting up... using the pitcher, pouring it over the mans body, and using several of the candles that had been left behind by the previous occupants.

Taking several steps back he looked down at the body, and recited the incantation... taken one more look at the body as it incinerated in itself.

"We shall see you soon, Brother"

Shardek slipped into the room he had secured for them in Sigil, near to the Baazar and equipped with servants quarters, it had been a perfect find. He moved quietly, with the aid of several enchantments and specially padded boots. He laid the books he had purchased onto the shelf. Turning now to observe the bed.

She laid immobile, he could tell she had not moved from that position since she had returned to the room... the blankets lay strewn to one side, where she had thrown them open to collapse into the bed. He couldn't help but smile.

Making his way to the bed Shardek gently pulled the covering over her... taking care not to disturb her slumber, before turning to the door that led into his room... a small room that barely rated as a closet, with a palate to sleep on and a wash basin. It was locked from the outside, so that a master could raise their servants.... so as Shardek made his way in, he slide the bolt shut with a minor cantrip... before collapsing onto the palate, and himself falling asleep.
