I have finally taken the oath for Lyra. She now calls me Sovani as well....apparently, she's older than I. Such has made her far more comfortable in my presence, which by all counts is a victory in my book. However, recently she's seemed rather...ill. Neither she nor Darremar will tell me what is wrong. There is some hurt in that, but it is obviously something between them both...they will tell when they are ready. I hope.

I must say, Ymerion should have switched to leather a LONG time ago.....not only is it a far better view, but also easier to take off, more comfortable, and it makes him smell REALLY nice. I love the smell of leather. His training in stealth and Illythiir are going nicely as well. He can fool the Dogai now. A new barrage of *a multitude of things are scratched out* customers made me miss an excursion to Mercuria to further test him...but I guess we could all go another time.

I don't seem to write as much as I used to....whether that's good or bad remains to be seen.

And here I had half forgotten about you.....barely used, and yet used so often. Pieces of thought beside nonsense, wisdom in the midst of rambling....

Well, I finally was told what Lyra's illness was...and I'm now in the same boat, luckily enough. I'm PREGNANT. I'm going to have a baby! Or perhaps, more than one-my family is known for twins. Thing have been hectic.....so many tensions have arisen and been resolved. Sometimes my nerves feel stretched to thier thinnest.

I've met yet another Illythiiri.....a male named Veldrin. Looking at him is almost like looking into a mirror. Creepy, I confess. I see in him I as I once was, when I first arrived...the person who wrote the first of these entries. I have changed so much over this time, hard to see as it is. I have not been as orderly with this journal as I have been in my life at large.

I am teaching Veldrin the Common tongue, as disgusting as he finds it. He is at least a quick study, so it is not as painful an experience as it might be. He holds much promise as at first an ally, and mayhaps later as a friend....

I'll write more later....it's getting late, and I wanted to fly a bit....

*The pages of the old journal are covered with crude drawings of clothes and notes about sewing as well as weaving.*

It's ghastly, being pregnant. I can't DO anything anymore. I have to hire the Primes to fetch me any kind of enchanting materials now, and I have little energy to practice my archery, let alone go hunting like I once did. I don't dare pick up magic again; all it got me into was trouble and strife. So I've turned to sewing- and all other methods of creating clothes. I've books on weaving, on knitting, on crochet- everything that can be done with fabric. It's the only other work I can do besides enchanting. I'll probably drive Ymerion insane with all this, but I can't just SIT here all the time. I miss doing things I used to do, miss wearing the things I used to wear....I can't stand being so sedentary. If we didn't have so many "pets" I probably would've gone quite mad ages ago. And speaking of company.... I should go and visit Lyra one of these days. She's even closer than I to term. She's probably as miserable as I am. I'll make her some nice, gender neutral baby-clothes.... and some blankets, and maybe a shawl. Gifts to make her feel better, and company to commiserate with. Oh, and I can bring Tami to meet their kitten... probably closer to a cat now, come to think of it. Ah well. A ball of yarn should occupy them both plenty.

Perhaps I'll use you more now. Paper doesn't judge when all a pregnant woman wants to do is complain, after all.

*Isonade smirks a bit, stows her pen. she palces the journal away, moving into the kitchen to prepare some food*
