Time flows like sand from my hand, many new turn has came, the great wheal keeps moving.
After the silent solitude of the garden I've made my first appearance in the bazaar. Many weeks passed with peaceful meditation. The supplies run low, and against my will, some frugal nutrition even I have to absorb.
The fate is a bad lover, and things happens when one trigger them, or why one trigger them. From the point of view, it can look different, but it isn't.
Some miners visited the bar of the efreet and some are more stupid then others, dropped the clue of a new, valuable material which had been found lately by them.
The big things attracts big events, and sometimes great shadows are cast on small but more important things.
The shadows, this time, were a great explosion in the bazaar. Many of the bloods began to investigate that case, even if it was just an illusion of the Wheel.
I had the occasion trace the miners instead, pursuing the valuable information which they had hold.
Plane of earth, and a mystical disappearance were the outcome. The miners made quite few gossip while they've proceed to their mine, which was my main goal to reveal. The exact location remained hidden, because they had "phased" into the solid rock wall, but certain information still I hold. From that, I can begin my own investigation.
- There weren't any walk around, their mine must lie beneath that wall, which I can identify exactly, not only by appearance (if they would change it maybe) but with the ancient meditation technique I can relocate it by the lines of chi.
- I've gathered 3 examples of the exact demeanor and appearance (3 miners were inspected in details) to investigate on, ask around for those people. They are miners, they need food, women and entertainment, so sooner or later I will find their trace. (I've heard them using numbers, instead names. 1,3,5,7,9 and 10 they were.)
- An other thread is the "Wayfarers Union", which was called by name. Probably kind of miner society or company. I need more information regarding this one.
- They've used a "keystone" for the "phasing" a casual looking stone with red pulsing light from inside the stone itself. I hadn't enough lore in the area of knowledge to decide the material. Probably it's a magical effected item. I will ask around for these too, maybe some spell singer from our faction can help me out with this.
If the gossiping miner had right, that new material is like ademantine and solanian truee steel, mixed together, which means, it could serve our faction better in these tension full times.
If I manage to recover some sample, it could be very precious asset for our further goals. Good weapons are always welcomed for those who wield them.
Meanwhile I'm still hoping to accept pupils to train for the Doomguards. I won't be younger, even if my health and mental state is still perfect, the end will come even for me. Though, for me, it's hard to discover in the youngsters the needed will and loyalty, I can't believe in them, not find yet the one.
The garden is fully recovered, it's a good news, even so, because I might not have the time for it from now on. I'm going to investigate that case in the next months. I hasn't made my report yet in the armory, for now I still keep it low profile and with gathering information and evidence I can assure, that the miner wasn't a simple fool, who mixed up a peddle with a valuable new source.
