Lawyer's Chant.

Several wives in the market are talking about Hildmor over purchase of some foodstuffs, Hildmor, for once not actually present in that particular area.

"Sordid....its a complete disgrace.... I mean...he's supposed to be this upstanding citizen, respectable lawyer and I have it on honest to goodness authority from the mouth of that sweet fey that he's involved in the most despicable affair with his henchman or is it handyman.....mmm ...yes! I know! that beefcake Yuriy...rather a hunk himself...such a waste....but yes Ethel...its a disgrace...and while his lovely woman Kree is engaged with her own business below the city, he is seen in public consorting with the fellow....ooh...now there's a ripe pair...have a sniff dear...two jink? What a rip off...they're not worth a pair of greens....."

And the conversation then turns to the price of fish.

Rumours about Hildmor are generally of a good or neutral nature, those which are not hardly make sense and would be disregarded by most people. Sometimes though, pretty interesting ones may be heard, often whispered. Here are some of them:

"Hildmor d'Kridis is known to be the leader of an Undersigil trading organization called Undersigil Mercantile Cartel. But that's not entirely true! Some say that he's just a marionette in deft fingers of his higher assistants."


"Hildmor never forgives debts, no matter how small they are. He may 'forgive' debt for some kind of a non-monetary favor or if it benefits him in the long run but there's no true pardon. While he employs legal contracts inside Sigil, he'll not hesitate to send his goons after someone who leaves the jurisdiction to avoid it or escapes attention of Triad of Law all too well."

"Hildmor, just like Neli La Meor has a thing for tiefers. Well, even his 'official' partner is a tiefling, as it is known. Also, while not in any manner lax, he's not so monogamous. Some say he cheats on his lover, other deny that. Oh and not so long time ago he was seen in Khazeet's, surrounded by tiefers!"

"Hildmor's unofficial title among the 'businessmen' of Undersigil is "Lord of Whisper"."

Chant has it Hildmor is looking for a soft road to Rigus. He employs various Planeswalkers from the Guild and Indep mercenaries to explore various portals to Outlands and find a relatively short and safe route to the Gatetown. He also seeks various metal traders among the merchants of his Faction...but as always, very little is known of his deals.

Also, Yuriy Bolkonsky was spotted with a mercenary broker, looking to hire more swordarms...

Heh, rumour has it Hildmor finally has been arrested for good. For a murder. Another mage, some say his name was Rain Jarlais. The corpse and the second culprit were not found...

Chant has, it berks and cutters, Hildmor d'Kridis has been freed. Can't tell if he bought the officials again, or used some of his connections, or both...In any case, he's back on the streets of Sigil...

Some bloods speculate that he might change his policies, atleast for some time...
