Daedrianna and Mirrianna Sea are sisters born of an eternal rivalry between their fathers. They both wear their motherÂ’s beauty as well as the heritages of their fathers. An eternal bond binds them together even as the dichotomy of their heritage drives them apart.

Tatianna Sven fell in love with Christoph Sea; the local hero in her remote village deep in the wilderness of Rashamon. She was the daughter of the village chief, beautiful, wise, and gentle. Christoph was a strong and proud warrior who bore the marks of a child of the gods. All the villagers whispered that he carried divine blood in his veins, and nearly worshiped him as if he were an avatar of the gods themselves. So it was with great joy that the villagers prepared for the wedding between these two beloved people. They lived in happiness for several years as Christoph defended the village from the many dangers in the wilds of Rashamon. It was during this time that beautiful Daedrianna was born.

Now the life of a hero is never easy, especially for a man with divine heritage. Christoph had made numerous enemies during his adventures, many who sought to destroy his happiness. However it was Roman Harris who hated Christoph more than life itÂ’s self. Roman was driven by his own heritage, that of a demonic origin. He had grown up living in the wilderness near the village ever ChristophÂ’s rival in all things. He bullied the villagers and manipulated them as much as he could. He never pushed his luck very far for fear that Christoph would destroy him. However he coveted Tatianna beyond reason, and swore that she would be his.

However there came a day when Christoph was called away for an extended period of time. No one was sure why but they knew it was important. It was then that Roman decided it was time to turn the tables on Christoph. He used manipulation and horrible threats to play the villagers against each other, cow them into submission. He began courting Tatianna despite her repeated requests to be left alone. She tried to protect little Daedrianna as best she could, but with no protector there was little she could do in the face of RomanÂ’s veiled threats. Rumor whispered amongst the villagers was that Roman was making threats against little Daedrianna after courting and niceties failed to attract TatiannaÂ’s love.

None of the villagers knew what transpired within TatiannaÂ’s home, but it was discovered that Tatianna was again with child; and that a curse had been placed upon little Daedrianna. Her beautiful green eyes were slowly fading to a sickly milky white, and with it her sight declined. Tatianna seemed to have been broken, but she tried to remain strong during the pregnancy even as her heart broke over the continued delay of ChristophÂ’s return.

Christoph returned on the eve of MirriannaÂ’s birth to find the village all but hiding in terror of both of the rivals. Fear of retaliation from Roman, and fear of ChristophÂ’s anger kept the villagers lips sealed. Christoph returned to his home to find Tatianna in child birth and Roman fleeing from his home. A burning rage filled Christoph when he saw the baby that Tatianna had given birth to, a child born with the horns and tail of a demon. He chased Roman into the night, determined to slay the creature that had defiled his love.

Tatianna did not survive the night, though the villagers always believed it was heart break that truly stole her from this world. The villagers fled the home as if it were cursed leaving little Daedrianna and Mirrianna alone with the body of their mother as it cooled. It was to this scene that Christoph returned to in the morning with rage still burning in his heart. He found little Daedrianna holding Mirrianna closely, trying to comfort her and find comfort from her. It was perhaps only this scene that stayed his hand from destroying Mirrianna. Yet his rage could not be so easily placated, and he chose to hunt down Roman at all costs.

The villagers were terrified of keeping a demon child so close, and so they took the children to a small coven of druids nearby who kept watch over the wilds. They took the children in, cared for them and raised them within the druid tradition as it has been laid down by the Oak Father.

Daedrianna grew up watching the unfairness of her sisterÂ’s birth. She saw how the village feared and hated Mirrianna, but also how Mirrianna feed that fear with her own behavior. Mirrianna was a mischievous child, always pulling pranks, or stealing things. She never seemed to quite grasp the concept of ownership.

In her own right Daedrianna grew into her own heritage beautifully. She studied with the druids but her talents lent her a slightly different path. She began to commune with the spirits of the land. The druids fostered her talents, and taught her everything they could.

As the girls grew up tensions between the druids and the small village grew. They grew angry and fearful of the secretive druids, and the demon child. Despite the best attempts by Daedrianna and the druids they could never quite keep Mirrianna out of trouble. Daedrianna was not surprised the day the druids advised her it was best that she and her sister leave, and seek their own experience in the world. Yet Daedrianna retained one keepsake from her father, and with it she took her sister to seek their peace on the planes.
