Journal Entry One:
Today my campaign in the Beastlands begins, I have already plotted my first move on key strategic points in the region. The Unseelie have long been an encroachment upon the neighboring Seelie and im sure the Fey would be greatful for an efficent liberator.

I plan on starting small, as was trained. To launch attacks on fortresses would be entirley unwise, first, I must starve out the Unseelie entirley by taking small outposts and food stocks in swift raids.

As of now, I have no troops, but that will change soon enough, my plan is to campaign a small militant group together into a Legion and begin with an assault on a possition I believe is one of their weakest defencive lines.

Proportionally my plan begins here:

There is a small Bruxian outpost not far from a waterfall where a cavernous network leads to a regular gathering point for the Unseelie's lesser lieutenants and minor military strategists.

They are of no key importance to winning the war, but to win this smaller campaign they are vital.

I will send my Legion to capture this region perminently and liberate it from the Unseelie, then I will negociate diplomacy with the Seelie Fey to return the area to their rightful control.

Hopefully, this will give me a staging ground to resupply the men, and possibly with some negociation, a small contingent of Seelie scouts to keep an eye on the hostile borders.

From there, we will see...

We will see.

Entry Two:

My love becomes a dangerous thing in war. Love is a distraction but none the less, she is a fair flower that stands out amoung the usual crowns in the city.

Her ambitions, her interests, her fires are like mine. She has a plan and it is clear she intends to use me as I continue to wonder what it is she needs me for with interest.

Even so, it will not break my focus from my current goal, I have met a few mercinaries with a growing force at my back the situation seems minorly favourable.

With some luck, I have the making of a small force today.

Entry Three:

Today I liberated an Earth Elemental along with my comrades, by the name of Bulwark. The creature claimed that it desired its freedom so that it could restore the earth to its former glory.

I felt a nostalgic similarity in the creature to myself. It treated the multiverse as a hard but fair place. Perhaps I too should be hard but fair... perhaps.

Despite this, Lady Ayesta was a little distraut by our decision to let the creature loose. Its unbiased feelings towards miners and greedy or innocent individuals left her troubled some innocent lives may be taken by its desire to reclaim the earth.

I would say a necessary evil achieves a greater good. By making this creature free I was able to procure some samples of Diamond from the very surface layer of the Earth Planes. It wasnt easy, but ive forged a few, about four picks with my family smith to be used by our mercs.

That doesnt seem like much, but the intention is not to create an accessable tunnel, but a dangerous weapon.

I will feed the earth a tribute of sorts, by doing this I will assure the Unseelie fall into one of the most devistating traps, a trap of the earth itself.

Using pigs fat, and flammable oils I will create a molten furnace below their feet that will rapidly destroy their armies.

This, will be my cavalry charge, a snake like pattern under the earth filled with boiling oil and pigs fat will melt the soil and cut a massive hole in the Unseelie Ranks.

It will leave their main horde exposed to arrow fire and mage flame burning them, roasting them in the oil they fall into.

The land will be damaged, and scars will be on us all, but the damage is necessary to achieve the desired result. If this works out, this small battle for Brux Mountains will work entirley favourably, leaving the Unseelie compleatley incapable of holding the Mountain.

After that, I will return the land to the Seelie, in return for wealth and their gratitude, a small request but they wont be unreasonable. A liberator must be rewarded for their deed, and as they have failed to free their own lands from these creatures, it will be I they thank for the deed.

This all demands the succeess of the inital plan, the tunnel must hold, long enough at least. Even if it does not, the collapse would cause Unseelie forces to crash into the earth and be exposed to arrow fire anyway.

My only concern is that the tunnels cannot hold at all, and before we even get into burrowing into the soil we are hindered by Bulwarks ruthlessly unbiased desire to reclaim the earth.

If that happens, this battle 'might' be a difficult one. But then the plans have to adapt.

I pray now to the great unknown, the only power left to me to consider a god, that it will grant me and my men the favourable terms to make this battle work in our whim.

As a Godsman, I pray not to Zeus any longer... but to the power that gave him his authority...

And I pray, to that power, that it, will see me as worthy, of becomming the next making, of a god.

...Slow steps, big dreams...

I cannot leap before I look, but I will still long to reach the other side of this long road with eager anticipation.

Entry Four:

War has taken its toil on me. With fame comes expectation and I fear I cannot carry the burdain... what if I fail now? What happens if-... no, I must not consider the possibility, it is victory or death, victory, or DEATH!

I... Hope that my love would not read this, especially considering what else I have to confess.

My heart, is divided, not that it is an uncommon thing in Olympus, but the traditions of other planes and primes is alot more, stagnant.

I have befallen my lusts for a woman whos innocence and fire almost mirror my own persona in every way possible. My love... I wish you could love her as I do...

Even after confessing this, it surprised me that she took it so well, yet I do not know how the woman I lust for might feel in turn... can a man truley have everything?

I truley wonder... can a man conquer all things, even doubt without fear of consequence? Without consequence?

Can such a world exist?

I... must return to war now, the battle goes favourably, but every step forward I feel even greater uncertainty, such is the way war works. The closer to victory you rise, the more unnerving the prospect of defeat.

Entry Five:

*On this entry is a drop of blood*

I cut myself by mistake while writing this, I drew the ink quill too quickly. Perhaps it is anger, or the bitter taste of loss but I have experienced a pain today that no god can ever appriciate...

I have lost something I would have had... something so pure and perfect... now I have only a throne...

Is it truley worth all I have fought for?

I do not... know anymore.

But those men in Brux, they need an end to this conflict, and I will bring it.

If I must perish in the fires of glory then I will do what must be done. I had so many dreams and hopes, my tale only yet begun, Brux was to be my foundation... now I wonder if it is my tomb.

I will do all I can to make a difference there now, for it is all I can do, to make a difference.
