Seems like you can rest at will here - no timer. But I don't know, still pretty new.

So is there any need for buff-based builds to go that extra mile to miantain endurance (higher caster levels, extend spells, extra music for bards, extra turning for Divine Shield users etc...).

Or will you never really "run out" of stuff as you can just rest?

There are alot of monsters capable of dispelling, so high caster level is always a good idea.

Hmm...but what about say Bards with 16-21 levels getting extra song - or divine might / shield users getting extra turning? I find even with EDM, 11 turn uses goes fast when I use both might and shiled a lot. And as a bard, 21 songs goes fast with Requiems and curses. But that is on other servers with rest timers. Maybe all you have to do here is take a knee...

I'm guessing that maybe soloing it is okay to rest a lot if you want, but if you are partying and constantly resting then needing to recast all your own buffs and all the team buffs it might make people annoyed.

There're plenty areas - particularly at higher levels - where you won't be able to rest often (or at all) due to no-rest areas. The Abyss only has two places to rest for example, one of which is the entrance portal. Carceri, the current penultimate area, has no resting areas whatsoever.

Last time I was there, the whole area outside the cave, you could rest whenever. Assuming you weren't being swarmed.

I was able to rest in Carceri few weeks ago. But the spawns travel a lot, and there is a lot of them. Thus it can be quite tricky to get a moment of "rest" in there.
