To begin...

I used to run a NwN1 mod... for a lot of years... It was called World Of Haven. Our founders actually had a mod up and running 2 weeks after NwN1 was released. I took it over a few years after that but tried to keep it as pure as I could. We had 3 different versions (for better or for worse) but it was grand. A lot of great friendships where created (Cenpuppie etc) and a lot of great RP was generated. I ran Haven as close to honest D&D as I could. Trust me... a have many a grey hair because of that old mod...

Then came NwN2... World of Haven crashed and burned. We couldn't maintain our old mod and we just didn't have enough staff to create another. We were done... It hurt very much to close up shop. That was my baby for a lot of years. I put my heart and soul into it but it had to go.

Tonight I had the opportunity to RP once again. I'm not talking about simple "you wanna join for some hack an slash" RP... but some real honest to god RP. It has been at least 2 years since I broke my heart and shut down Haven to today... 2 years where I had to suffer through bland mods and empty RP. Two years of boredom until tonight.

Two weeks ago I got enough nerve to DL your mod and jump in. Two weeks ago I found a new home.

Is the leveling a little fast? Perhaps...

Is the magic a little loose? Somewhat...

Are there rules and systems I don't agree with? Definitely...

But so far I've found a new home.

I'd like to thank Vera (Cenpuppie) and Tomas and Casha tonight. You brought the old past back to me. You gave me a night of RP I haven't had in years. You sent me to bed with a smile.

I hope you guys keep doing what you do. I hope your DM's continue to reward great RP and all continue to have great fun.

Thanks guys for the chance to relive ny NwN1 days all over again. I certainly hope you're open to a little criticism now and then but in the long run...

...Thanks...

Welcome and glad you enjoy the server :)

Generally we've found that there is about equal numbers complaining of low or high xp, which makes us feel pretty comfortable with where we are ;) (also, when you get to 25th, you'll see xp start dropping fast)

Welcome to SCoD and hope you'll continue to enjoy our server.

We're open for constructive criticism, won't make promises that we'll do anything about the things though ;) but we'll listen and consider if nothing else.

However you may do the following up to but not limited to maiming/torching/kicking/punting/stabing/eviserateing/roasting/shrinking/enlargeing/petrifiying/disintigrateing/trasnmuteing/decrepifying/murdeing/stabing/skewering/penetrateing/peirceing the Kenders.

And the tieflings can be persuasive:

If you see no image, you can find it in here, it is the bar "scene" near the end of the page. Link: http://www.marriedtothesea.com/archives/2008/Feb/
