Undead And Turning

So I did some searching on the forums about how my undead can combat turning at the higher levels. I saw some messages stating that there was once tattoos of turning defense but the threads were quite old. As someone that would like to go clowning around in the maze and a few other priest heavy select spots I was wondering what my little vampire and deathknight could do to protect themselves besides the simple solution of having more hit dice.
Second question, is the undead skin available somewhere? I have a gith deathknight and I would prefer to make him look like the DK more than the gith. Is that possible?
Cheers

Gith models aren't very robust, so not sure if that's possible in any way that'd let people see you're a Gith.

As I see it. the only way to increase turn resistance is to have a cleric with bolster undead. For deathknights, I thought they were immune to turning at least by their description.
But I have to say as most areas have clerics its absolutely annoying to play my vampire just to suddenly get turned by random metanpc clerics.

So there is no skin that can be enabled to make my Gith DeathKnight look undead? Or some item or template to wear? It's fine if not, I just wanted to make sure.

No. Giths kinda look undead to begin with... ever seen a picture of the Githyanki lich queen? Pretty much another githyanki, just a bit more more wrinkly and icky than usual.
