Never made a post like this before so i figured this place would be appropriate.
If a DM see's this and you catch me online could you please nag me with a tell when you get a moment?.
Im rebuilding miranda and while normally ill ask one of the players i know and trust to help me, this time i require DM assistance, as a dozen or so items miranda has cannot be transfered from one player to another so it would be nice if a dm could witness the items i have, take note of how many i have, and then when i re-establish miranda as level one, replace said items.
Yes of course im talking about her army of golem widgets lol.
Need Rebuild Help.

Hmm, I must appologise, i though this had been discussed awhile ago when we were talking about selling and transfering golems and such and i thought it had been said it was ok, but if a decision needs to be made then i will of course wait for the jury to decide.
With this new information presented to me though I must be one hundred percent honest with said jury then.
Abit of RP fluff.
Miranda has been called many times, the golem master of Sigil and she has always proven she has no shortage of constructs within her tower and in reserve in other locations. She and her husband have, for along time now been served by a Valorhammer construct they have named Byrnwyld, who has been fiercely loyal to the family both old (and new!) members. The loyalty to the Illdesserin's recently resulted in his destruction when the vizier attacked mirandas tower in order to get at argent and the golem was destroyed holding back the lichs minions. She has been working around the clock pretty much to repair and remove the tramatic damage the golem has sustained but recently her mind has taken different line of thought.
No can deny that Miranda puts her heart and soul into every thing she creates, and indeed everyone knows she treats all of her constructs like her own children. She realizes now that after experiencing so much heart break from Byrnwlds destruction that she needs to step back from the construct field and recognize them for what they are, simple machines built to serve. She has also realised on an econimic level that with all the dangers Sigil presents, having such mighty constructs can be very cost ineffecient.
So she has decided she is going to still build golems yes, but she isnt going to divert as much time and effort to it. She has decided to go back to the divine pursuits that she followed when she first came to Sigil while maintaiing her arcane knowledge and study, oh and being a mother full time as well!. She is also about to have a meeting with an associate from Thay who is going to give her some rather tragic financial and political news from back home (nothing to do with her husband) that will effect her status as a red wizard for ever.
She has gone and gathered the powerful golems she has built over the years and consolidated them within her tower but she has resigned herself that when their time is up then their time is up and when they break down, they are destined for simple salvage.
//Now, that being said (even though i know it really wasnt needed, IC reasons aside, yes the army of golems is to facilitate as quick of a relevel as possible obviously.
//A question i just thought of however, and this could make the whole point moot is i dont know if she could actually use the hellfire or valor hammer or iron golem widgits if she isnt a golem master?.
//On the same side of the coin though, she is still going to be producing golems just not on the level of dedication a golem master can do.
//Inventory wise, if she can use the widgits for releveling, she will be in possession between 7-10 hellfire cores and 3-4 valor hammer cores, all of which she has the resources to build.

It is possible to use the constructs without being a GM - they just don't get the class benefits. Still v. powerful. Looks like we've been granting the golems back for Golem Masters who rebuild. Now discussing if it is fine to have those golems if you are not a Golem Master.

Fair enough, let me know whats going on before i make any final decisions!.
Personally I think it should be fine if they keep them if they invest the resources in them, other wise IMHO, you'd have to start looking at a list of items people bring back with them when they rebuild that are class specific when they no longer have that class. I know its not a huge list but there is a list!.

This is true, valid points except for that gibberish post which my eyes have decided doesnt exist.
Im just gonna wait for the staffs decision, considering they wont get the GM buffs and shes still making golems just not those models...well...ill just let the dice roll where they land.
If i have to i could just make adjustments to my build, ill have to wait is all.

I don't really know what to say (although I could say a lot) about this topic other than I wish that it didn't exist because of its potential to spark interest from people who would abuse the system.
I would kind of appreciate it as someone who enjoys having nice things if this could be moved to one of the private EM/DM forums.
