Lawful Good clerics and paladins serving that particular deity are more inclined than others, and I've seen this more than few times, to play their role to do benefits for their personal interests (whether romance was involved or not) rather than for the whole, even if it was their church.
That's a failure of the players, not of WotC. WotC can't be blamed for bad roleplay.

Also, technically, a cleric of Sune can NOT be Lawful Good, as clerics of Sune must be Chaotic and non-evil. Paladins, by virtue of being required to be Lawful Good in 3.5E, are Lawful Good, regardless of whether they serve Sune or not.

It's impossible roleplay, not bad roleplay. I'd pity the player who would seriously try to convince herself to be playing such thing effectively, because it would be a sign of her mental illness. You can burn sugar and obtain caramel, you will never get diamonds from burnt sugar.

I could be mistaken, but I'm 90% sure Sune and Aphrodite are the same god, or one is the aspect of the other (Aphrodite > Sune).
As for allowing paladins and such, please bear in mine that Sune is the goddess of love and beauty. Even paladins can serve love. They love to kill evil, after all.
1. Don't mistake this for Sharess. Love does not equate to sleeping with half of Sigil.
2. You could hypothetically RP your paladin as a paladin of freedom, since the class itself doesn't exist. Mechanically, this is extraordinarily difficult, but no one said it would be easy ;)

As for the wings, not every model has wings available to them. A lot of it depends on your base race. Some people just can't have wings, at least not yet.
Also, the next update is coming out with a wings and tail fix. It might actually be resolved soon.

Paladins goes more with "agape", the highest form of love

Agape is: "feelings for one's children and the feelings for a spouse".

"Eros" is, instead: "love, mostly of the sexual passion." The Modern Greek word "erotas" means "intimate love".

Paladins are orderly people: this means no going into brothels, no changing lover after lover, etc. Orderly people are stable in their behaviour, they don't cheat or lie, by habitude. Finding a cheating paladin is more infrequent than finding a married paladin.

Eros, as a type of love, is always subject to agape when playing a paladin, given her orderly nature. This is where the conflict of interests arises, because Sune is certainly a "good-hearted" deity but, being chaotic, she is individualist and egocentric, a thing which a paladin - any paladin, given the alignment - cannot conciliate with her holy mission. A paladin can't be volatile, Sune is, these two cannot stay together without conflict.

A paladin of "freedom", intended as a chaotic good paladin, must bear another name in her class. If a player would like to have paladin powers without paladin roleplay's restrictions, well, all she has to do (to be fair, keep in mind) is to be a new thing with less powers and less restrictions, or with similar powers and similar restrictions.
Or else we'll talking about a completely different game.

It's actually not, if people understand how Sune's tenets work. This Reddit thread has some good insight into that: https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/2 ... aladin_of/. The major problem is, people confuse Sune with Sharess. Compare the dogma of Sune with the that of Sharess. People try RP a cleric/paladin of Sune as some hedonistic, overly-passionate (to the point of ridiculous) person who sleeps with just about anything and encourages such behavior. Sune is not about sex over romance/love, rather the opposite. Sune epitomizes the concepts of Pragma love and Philautia love (see this article for the basics: the-ancient-greeks-6-words-for-love-and-why-knowing-them-can-change-your-life ).

I am having some issues and I don't know how to solve them right now.

1. I have six levels of half-outsider and I have taken the wings feat. I do not have the wings yet after several resets but I did before I rebuild her.

2. How to deal with most mobs in Abyss spamming knockdown/improved knockdown? I'm not talking once a minute, I'm talking about 3-6 knockdowns in the span of 12 seconds.

3. Why can I not select Sune as my deity when you are lawful good? Was it removed?

Foundation of Stone spell prevents you from being knocked down. As far as you, being the defender, resisting knockdown...see this:
http://nwn2.wikia.com/wiki/Knockdown wrote: A character with this feat can attempt a special knockdown attempt, which does not cause damage but does not provoke an attack of opportunity. A character may only knock down creatures that are one size larger than itself or less. The attacker makes a d20 roll modified by his strength bonus, and the difference between his creature size and the target creature size times 4. The defender makes a d20 roll modified by the better of his strength and dexterity bonus. If the attacker meets or beats the defender's roll, the defender is knocked down. Prone characters cannot attack. Characters receive a +4 bonus to attack prone opponents in melee, but a -4 penalty to attack them with a ranged weapon.

Probably because Sune is Chaotic Good, and you are not Chaotic.

Wierd, all it did was quote my post with a "-1"

So you can Select Sune as Lawful Good paladin but not as a cleric. I find that wierd but then again I never played these classes before.
