Technical Difficulties

As far as I know my computer should be able to handle this game. But I can say with confidence NOBODY gets lag killed like me. Lag in general keeps holding me down. Other players have tried interacting with me, yet lag was so bad that they left after minutes of no response. No one seems to have this issue but me. Lag has ALWAYS been there. (And I have been on here for quite some time.) Sure, things are much better then the hack attack week or so that just ended recently. However lag continues to be an issue that often results in character death, be it RP or grinding. I want to believe that I am not being singled out, but at this point I don't know what to believe. If anybody has a solution let me know. I'm had enough of this garbage.

A lot of it is going to depend on where you are as well. The server was formerly hosted in Europe, and is now hosted in the US. So log is going to be more likely if you're not in north america.

Also, consider your NWN2 settings. I've experienced some lag when I've had all my graphical settings at max (particularly antialiasing), although I can run at higher resolution on some simpler servers.

Also, another thing to consider is if you're experiencing lag on other servers (I mean, ahem, you should never visit any other server and live your life here...).

That's the thing. I'm in Canada. I can't get any closer unless I'm in the U.S.

I suppose I can tone my settings down a little. However I thought having a good computer with a fast processor and good video cards entitles you to play on max settings. What's the point in blowing money on all those things when your forced to play default or worse regardless.
